  • My favorite ever! The Pope seems to be enjoying the Tallis!

  • @jedjethro as a Catholic, how can you not love Tallis and Bach and Handel? It's pretty much proof that God does not condemn people to hell for not being Catholic.

  • @MortiCarthago I don't understand completely what you mean. I just noticed that he was enjoying it. Wasn't Tallis Catholic? I thought he was...But, I still don't get your point.

  • @MortiCarthago Handel was, I believe, himself a Catholic...Just for the record.

  • why those Roman Caphlyc Wymyn Prysts always show up in the sidebar ....

    beautiful music btw.

    Ave Maria!

  • "If you love me, keep my commandments". How ironic is this for the Archbishop of Canterbury. Please oh please, Our Lady's Dowery, come back home to the Catholic Church. ;D

  • @mcfcatholic Never.

  • @mcfcatholic They need not for as long as these two are in the same page... all is well for these two churches :) But.... it would be nice to say that... it is better to come home to the catholic church and help spread Christianity to the world.. :)

  • Instead of all this theological debate, which is worthless, as all men are equal in the eyes of god. Just bath in the spiritual delight, which flows through this wonderful piece by Thomas Tallis

  • Love that bass!

  • 1:52 DARTH SIDIOUS AND DUMBLEDORE!

  • Beautiful, just beautiful. If only more of our Catholic choirs would, or could sing like this.

We have much to learn from each other!

  • Those children sing like angels :)

  • Who's that man next to the Pope, is he a Bishop?

  • @lilmissnosey That is Dr. Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, which is the spiritual leader of the Anglican Church.

  • @lilmissnosey , its the Archbishop of Canterbury.

  • Wow two false bishops together... I wonder where the succession has gone that is Apostolic?

  • @MrMarcvus The Bishop of Rome and the Primate of England are not false... you my friend are false..

  • I pray that the Anglican Church NEVER joins with the Roman.... too many gains in theology, simplistic preaching and worship style would be lost

  • @timothyj1966 Entire Anglican parishes have gone over to Rome, or have been newly created within the Catholic Church, and they keep their traditions. As for gains in theology, an Anglican friend of mine once had a crisis of faith re: the 1st person of the Trinity, went to two different Anglican priests for counseling, was told that there "is no one, right way to think about it", and that whatever he chose to believe or not believe was fine. (And it would be "rejoin", not "join".)

  • The Catholic Church is the most beautiful.

  • @Evergr3entree

It would not be if one of their priest rammed your asshole with his enormous cock. Well....maybe you would. You are blind to the evil of the pagan wicked religion.

  • @thedagonjones a bad priest doesn`t mean that all of religion is bad. It`s the people who do things wrong, not the faith or God

  • @Rens1989

Go research how many priest visit Bangcock. Why do you think they go? It is because they can buy young boys. Research and see how Rome was sacrificing children at least into the 3rd century with one Caesar executing a pope as he burned to many children.

  • @Evergr3entree this is not the Catholic Church! It is the Anglican, English Church of England not of Rome!

  • God bless the Pope!

  • @Catolicoporsiempre1 Long live the Queen!

  • @Catolicoporsiempre1 that is if you like reform and heresy

  • Oh Lord, please have mercy on the Catholic church.... Please help them!

  • @poolryhm Oh Lord, please have mercy on ALL OF US... and help us as we ALL need it!

  • nerds.

  • Oh, these Christians, how they love one another! Why all the in-fighting? I don't get it. "Unless you pick the plank out of your own eye, don't pick the grain of sand out of mine." Don't we have greater issues (like our own morals and salvation) to be concerned about rather than demoninationalism, conservative vs liberal, Mary and the saints as the path to Jesus, etc., etc., etc.???

  • No fair...the English get Handel, Dickens, Austen, Chaucer... :-)

  • I really can not believe the pope is there although Christian unity would be good I must admit both the Catholic and Anglican Churches have really lost the plot...

  • I miss working in the UK. On Sundays I would attend church at the Westminster Abbey.

  • R. R. the former Arch Bishop of Canterburry looks like a blathering Liberal Idiot....

Oh, he IS a blathering Liberal Idiot....!!!! Glad he's gone

  • @Mackaronni Let's not bring politics in to this. In the Christ, there is no liberal or conservative; there is only faithful and unfaithful. While I think the Archbishop has done some misguided things, I give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to trying to do God's will. We can never judge the state of someone's soul. Christ wouldn't condone your uncharitable statement.

  • @reginacaeli123 You can wallow in mediocrity ALL you like, but please, don't ask the REST OF US to join you!

The R.R., former Arch Bishop of Canterbury is an embarassment to the faith with his cheeky, low-breed appearance and liberal, misguided policies. No wonder the Anglican church is in DECLINE with such MORONS being elected.

  • @Mackaronni The Archbishop of Canterbury isn't elected, and never has been.

  • @reginacaeli123 Of course you are right and a good and charitable Christian. Some of my fellow Americans are an embarrassment. Our faith should transcend politics and calumny and personal invective has no place in God's kingdom. We change hearts and minds with the love of Christ. Though I don't always agree with Dr, Williams on everything, he is on balance, a pious and holy man.

  • @xlump96 you hit the nail on the head.

  • too much sliding from note to note =/

  • The most ironic thing about all this pomp and hierarchy is that Christ does not ask us to follow any of it; apart from the text being sung. The simplicity of Christ's teaching is that anyone can now have access to God through him, without the need for any earthly intercessor.

There is one head of the church, one intermediary between us and God and that's Christ, who sits at the right had of God and reigns over the earth from heaven.

  • @xlmp96 Oh, OK. Thanks.

  • @xlmp96 Christ created the church with a hierarchy from the beginning, governed by earthly shepherds. Your version of Christianity has little to do with the one which started in the first century. Christ created the church on earth, not as a loose association of people who follow him, but as a body in which different members play different functions. He created a sacramental church, to preserve the integrity of the faith across generations and unite people to him in a single communion.

  • @xlmp96 Sorry But You need the intercession of the Theotokos, she is the ultimate intercessor and you need the prayers of the Priest as he offers the mysteries. Yes Christ is around in life but with out the sacraments you have nothing... Read the desert Fathers this is where the protestant faith falls apart . The intercessors are the saints and the best intersessor is the Theotokos( Mary ).

  • Slightly more echo à la King´s would have helped here.

  • The last entry. What complete and total nonsense

  • What nonsense from the last entry

  • Perfect choice - the Anthem by Tallis following the edicts of Thomas Cranmer - the product of the glorious reformation in England. The liturgies of Rome are but a pale shadow of the perfection of the English Church.

  • @kingofprussia33

Quale chiesa inglese?

  • This American thinks y'all (English) are very classy!

  • Beautiful!!!
