the DSi is probably better. comes with wifi, is the same price, plays games, can support SD cards, and even a microSD, if you buy a flash cart. flash carts also support as many hacked free games as you like, as well as video. plays PDF e-books too.

resistive. It should be fine. The DS and most old school touch screen smartphones, and the Archos players use resistive touch screens.

1. we dont want(or cant) spend the money on a laptop, or even a netbook.

2. We want a QUALITY PMP that can play high res videos and multiple formats

3. We like having nice things that no one else has!(everyone has a iPod/PSP/Zune/Archos/Sansa.
