This pedal sounds nice, there's one brand new on ebay for sale right now for 99 cents i might buy it the listing will end this weekend on may 29 so all of u hurry up if u wanna have a chance to win it :P
Most of you guys are idiots. "Ugh! It doesn't give a huge distortion!" Use your amp COMBINED with the pedal to get a nice distortion. It adds another layer. It does not take total control. All in all.... Amazing.
I own one and it's a great overdrive pedal. It looks metal but it's definitely not- at least it won't give you the kind of digital distortion that's big in today's metal sound. You could definitely coax some early metal/hard rock distortion out of it though. And as has been stated many times you can get some really great gritty blues sound out of it. I use it with my Highway One Tele as well as my Squier John5 Tele and it sounds great with both single coils & humbuckers. I recommend it!
I just wanted to reply to this. For those of you that are interested. This is an awsome overdrive pedal. Definately not a heavy metal pedal as it may look. I own it and used to carry them in my old shop. Actually alot of the blues players in the area showed more interest in these upon trying it out. So be warned. It is a great pedal, just not a heavy metal pedal at all.
Not sure about this video, but it is a great pedal. Very open sounding OD with the right amount of bite and saturation. I had written this company off as a gimmick accessories outfit, but this pedal shows that they are serious about serving working guitar players. The graphics are goofy but it's a great pedal.
it surely would...but it is a slightly more gained out od pedal. Listen to it; you can hear the clean signal slightly beaming through (like an od). BUT as all ods are great for, like this, its getting a metal tone on an already distorted amp. Some of the metalheads on here have pea brains when it comes to gear. They saw the black and red with a skull on it and immediately go "DUUUR..why isn't this more distorted..it LOOKS like metal"
ehh.. maybe its for blues players that aren't stereotypical. Just because you play "bues" or "metal" doesn't mean you have to look so. When you go out of your way to look like something is when you are that p word that no one likes. poser? just enjoy music the way it comes. not by what package its in.

Ive never used a distortion pedal or any pedals before but where do u connect the pedal to ur guitar or amp or both
GoatMT 2 years ago
the pedal has in input, that you would connect your guitar to, and then on the oppisite side of the pedal is an output, that goes toward the amp.
Anarchyrocks99 2 years ago 2
There are the IN on the pedal to connect the guitar and the OUT to connect the amp. It's very simple.

It's more of a heavy metal Tube Overdrive.
Put this in front of your distortion and it'll probably Rock!

I can't see that being a bluesy pedal, that guy is just a bluesy player. I'd like to see how that thing handles metal style riffs.

I clicked on this thinking that it was a metal distortion pedal, lol
tobijon 2 years ago 2
with names like flith ijest and bleed, you would think its a metal distortion pedal.
it sounds good, but it should be redesigned

Why make a blues pedal look like that?
philochs 2 years ago
you can put it on a dirty amp and make it metal
