  • r u fart?

  • @ahmadzahrin1 there is nothing funny like that happening in this video, welding aluminium sounds different to what you normally hear (mild steel), the crater fill setting does sound like a fart though,

it's not me it was the machine that did it lol

  • 100% dope welding

  • What is this supposed to be a video of?

  • @homewright2010 It's a view of my world and what I do - In particular, Welding Aluminium.

  • @homewright2010 you should go back to knocking your top off then !

  • ***NEW*** Tig welding video by me, added this month.

  • If I had the money I get a welder machine but they are to much money

  • that's nice. the couple of times I tried my MIG on alu it wouldn't weld at all! what am I doing wrong?

  • @DanFrederiksen you need 100% ARGON gas for starters, and a nylon wire liner, and a bigger torch tip than the wire diametre. EG: for 1.2mm ali wire use a 1.4 tip.

Pulse synergic welders are prefered for ali welding but not essential

  • @DanFrederiksen r u using aluminum wire?

  • @joek0617 hehe yes I think so

  • A tig makes a prettier weld!

  • @speedy02

u can make mig look as good as tig, especially with the pulse welder this bloke is using just needa turn ya heat down a tad

  • @sukmaball i welded a custom sump with this welder and yes, with the twin pulse mode on, the welds looked better than tig lol I am happy with the results.

  • @speedy02 the weld in this video was ground off flush for polishing, tig takes too long and is not necessary for building bullbars like this, time is money.

  • thanks for all the veiws, i'm gonna upload another welding video today :)

  • Excellent videos MKone. that is GMAW-P, OR GMAW-PP? What are your settings for AMP and Voltage? also pulse rate? im tryng to figure out the lincoln 350 push/ pull @ work , and its givin me hell. it has lots of bells and whistles but i seem to like the miller syncrowave better. keep up the good work sir.

  • @mmhouk i am using a pulse on pulse machine, the weld on this video is about 125 AMPS, about zero arc length, this video is NOT using twinpulse, you have to set the pulse rate so it is in time with you and your stepping movements- slower rate=more amps/quicker rate=less amps. READ you manual or get someone like me to show you how to operate your machine if you are stuck. (if i could show you personally i would)

I know all about the bells and whistles with pulse synergic MIG welders.

  • Cool... Is it much difficult to weld MIG then MAG method? I mean, I'm going to work with MIG machines to weld aluminium trailers. But I never did that before :)

I'm a proffesional MAG /TIG welder so what do you think? I'll be ok?

  • @BreathingInDM, MIG welding should be fine for alu trailers, not much different than MAG welding by the looks of it, just different gas. You will be fine.

  • What is the welding machine? Looks liake Lorch. What do you think about it.

I need machne for welding alu boat i have tig ac dc but its not too fast.

    sory for my english;)

  • @wmaniek1 The machine is a CIGWELD 320SP, three phase only, very smooth welder. It can weld 2mm Aluminium good enough I recon, it loves 3 - 10mm more though, yes i like it and it is capable of doing so much hard work even on really hot days like 43 C = 109.4 F

  • In Poland 30C is max 43C and 200Amp with aluminium is murder. The last week i welding machine looks like yours but red she made in Germany. Very good remonte control in torch but the torch is very hard.

Thanks for your film and opinion and respect for your job

  • @wmaniek1 Yes welding aluminium in the heat is terrible, any hotter than 34-36C and it gets progressively worse. I think i understand what you mean about yr gun being hard, it might get better in time with some use and loosen up.

  • @wmaniek1 i like to use it (cigweld 320SP), it should breese through marine work and fast

  • LOL.... sounds like a big fart

  • Are you on pulse mode?

  • Yes on pulse synergic mode with 4 step function activated, 4 step allows you to control the hotstart and craterfill times by holding down on the trigger, this is an awesome welder to use.

  • Didn't know that the 4 step was to control the hot start and the craterfill! Thanks I will try it in school.

  • :-) Nice

  • Is that a Triton front bar,Looks like you know ur shit.

  • It's an R9 rodeo Mega bar, Thanks.

  • are you using a push pull type mig welder and if not what is the distance from the tip to the aluminum and what type of wire you using?
