  • jasons doughter is a girl in my class

  • So proud to know their drummer and guitarist and live in the same town as the guitarist :)

  • This song deserves a better volume than this!!!! anyways!! just freaking awesome!!!

  • nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn now uhuhuhuh

  • Every band Rick Rubin produced went gold or platinum except this band and Trouble. Don't know why, it was a great record.

  • Blaze is one of the top 10 vocalsist IMO!

  • Guitar reminds me of Wolfmother.

  • I always though this whole album sounded a bit like an alternate reality "Van Halen"...........my opinion, don't get yer panties in a wad.

  • Kinda like Be Quick or be Dead..But awesome.

  • I've always like he as a singer but in my opinion he was the wrong choice for iron maiden, specially to perform their earlier songs (Di'Anno, Dickinson stuff) ... they three are great and very different one from each other.. PERIOD

  • going to see blaze at the vic in sept cant wait

  • great song. blaze was always the wrong choice for maiden, but was great in wolfsbane.

  • @johnmoore666 Yes, he was the wrong choice, he is so much better than dickinson.

  • haha @2:33 Animal!!!

  • All Blaze-Era Iron Maiden haters should really check this out!!

  • this is first time i am listening to Wolfsbane and i am shocked! :O that's awesome!

  • I just found out this band and i can't stop listening to this song and other Wolfsbane songs! Blaze is the man!

  • Scream at 2:10 blows off all those Blaze haters. Bayley is the man

  • @vengadorpancho honestly, i didn´t think that Bayley could perform those high screams

  • Wahay!

  • BLAZE IS GOD

  • Its not surprising that Maiden came calling. Blaze is up there with all the greats, deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Halford, Dickinson, Dio, Ozzy and the rest of the true gods of Metal

  • BLAZE SCREAMING????? :| :O 2:10

    AMAZING!!!!

  • Can't wait to see them again next year

  • @stitcha123

    Your face!

  • @stitcha123 hmm... so a song about women grabbing men and shagging them is gay?

What's gay is not listening to the lyrics.....

  • I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of Blaze's work with Maiden or solo. But with Wolfsbane he was *really* amazing! Maybe the best front man ever! The music brought out the best of his voice. He was like a combination of Huey Lewis and David Lee Roth, and made it work with high energy hard rock/metal. I hope the next Wolfsbane will continue where they left off in '93!

  • Blaze is the king

  • Wow... I commented on a maiden vid and someone told me to check this song out cuz I thought blaze sucked, atleast his maiden days, but damn..this is a really good song..He sounds great

  • I love how he's singing into a bottle of beer HMS!!

  • I really like his voice, and although most people loath it, I like his work with maiden.

  • Intro is just like in Maiden's Flash Of The Blade or The Duellists I don't remember which one.

Blaze was better in Maiden and best in his own solo career

  • @The7thsonof7thson

More like in Back in the Village cause Flash of the Blade's riff is slower.

  • Dude, Blaze Scream is Insane, man hes one of a hell singer

  • i saw this band at battle of the bands at enots social club, lichfield, england in 1985.

    no guesses who won....

  • I'm a huge Maiden fan and I just realized that Blaze sounds so much like David Lee Roth

  • Wolfsbane apavora.

  • I always thought Blaze was more suited for a Van Halen styled heavy rock band than Iron Maiden and this is where Blaze really shines

  • Haven't heard this song in fuckin years...

  • seeing them tommorow carnt wait

  • sounds like flash of the blade my maiden

  • very good ! WOLFSBANE VERY COOL !

  • Brilliant band - used to drink with them in Costermongers back in the 80's!! Great times

  • and why da fuck are you listening to a band that you consider to be a loser band? what dumb motherfucker

  • I had a "howling mad kid" shirt wish these guys would reform my mum and dad hung out with em loads

  • Playing with the Quireboys in Dec!

  • Seeing them tomorrow :):) xxx

  • I can't find Ezy on youtube. Someone should upload it if it isn't here.

  • what a scream.

    what a fucking good scream

  • Wolfsbane fucking ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pure rock n fucking roll. Where are you now when we need you? We need more of this to blow away that prick Cowell.

  • fuckin true matey

  • This is there best song!!!

Blaze is GREAT on this one..

But listen to the second song from Live fast, Die fast.. It's called Shakin' I don't know why but i think Blaze sounds alot like David Lee Roth on that song..

    Am i crazy or right????

  • Fuck yeah!

    Headbangin riff and fun!

    Miss those times... \m/

  • whoa he hits the scream bruce hits on number of the beast but he holds the note way longer! if only he could do that when he was with maiden...

  • maiden's back in the village guitar intro with zeppelin's nobody's fault but mine vocal (n-ne-ne-ne noooo ) what the? but yes, blaze had range back then

  • hes always had a huge range,

it just went from a huge high range to a huge low range,

  • MAN HUNTS! MAN HUNTS!

man hunts, man hunts, man hunts, man hunts, man hunts!

  • tamworth kings, these guys used play my local norwich oval rockhouse, saw them loads.rem there last gig, think next day blaze quit to do maiden.rem seeing jeff when he started stretch n he said it was the best they ever played.he said at the time they were pist with blaze but end of the day you had to be in his shoes, maiden offer you a job, just couldnt turn it doen, even if it didnt work out..iron fucking maiden.anyway does anybody know wot jeff up to now

  • this is ace. :D

  • He actually sounds better here than on the maiden albums???

this is more heavy rock, his work with Maiden and his solo albums are more METAL

  • And the Maiden albums he did were more moodier and darker because Steve Harris was depressed.

  • This song rocks! Blaze Bayley rlz...

  • Isn't that the intro to Back In The Village?

  • *slaps*

    no...

  • this was a great album, it was produced by RIcK Rubin and I don't know why it failed to catch on. Maybe it was their image and the fact that their only tour that i know of was opening for Dark Angel and Overkill....not exactly their crowd.

  • blaze definetly sounds a lot better in this than with maiden i think they kinda held him back

  • hahaha!!!

  • you laugh but it's true...iron maiden is steve's baby and what he says goes

  • It is a cool song but the beginning sounds a little like the Irin maiden song "back in the village.

  • Awesome song!!!

  • Blaze Bailey Rules!

  • Someone please load up SHAKIN!!!!!!

  • how the hell have i never heard of this band?! whoa. Rick Rubin has always had the best eye for talent in the music industry.

  • cant even think how ppl hated him in maiden

  • cuz maiden kind of screwed him. dont get me wrong i love maiden, and i like how musically creative they were with blaze, but they held him back. i mean hearing this, and hearing him NOW, after maiden, you can tell he wasnt doing all he could. in maiden, the only songs where he really sounded good was 'futureal' and 'doctor doctor', a UFO cover. also listen to maiden with blaze, then listen to brave new world, with bruce. big difference in music. i think they purposely made him look bad, dont ask

  • yer i no, if they had done an album like no prayer for the dying he would have done way better but they went into the really dark stage which i guess was just a natural progression form fear of the dark but i no exactly what yous saying.

  • i cant understand why

for example , bruce can ruined the clansman or virus

  • maiden should have covered this when they had bayley.

  • Wasn't this recorded on Metal Mania? I used to watch Metal Mania back in the day and I really liked the obscure videos they've played, I always thought Wolfsbane was a combination of early Van Halen and the NWOBHM bands.

  • I always thought of Wolfsbane as a budget Van Halen. Listen to Blaze's vocals, he's David Lee Roth!!! Love 'em though

  • I thought of that also. back then

VH should have got him as singer in 2000

  • 2:12 OMG WAS THAT A HIGH NOTE? Lo, this song is awesome!

  • i remember seeing this video on a taped version of Raw Power my mum had. i thought it were the dogs bollocks back then! still is good but i love it more for its nostalgic quality! :)

    brilliant!

  • Blaze sounds better there than in Maiden

  • I totally agree, Wolfsbane is one band that should've been big in the States.

  • Blaze sounds great in this vid.

  • Blaze Is God

  • @Link8429 True My Friend

  • Blaze looks so fucking handsome in this vid lol xD....

Excellent song, kicking ass guitar style of Jase Edwards!!

  • i saw wolfsbane last gig at norwich oval rockhouse, the day before blaze went and try out for maiden.i had seen them loads there, but it was the best yet.little did i know or rest of them band blaze was off.i saw jeff fews years back with the jellys and he said it was there best performance...

  • Blaze fuckin rocks!

  • It's a little sad to see how much Blaze changed between 1990 and 1998. He used to be like this ultra cool rock star, with a cool voice and a mean attitude, and ended up as a cozy, balding, slightly fat reject from the world's biggest metal band. He really didn't deserve that. I hope Blaze will lose the weight and get back into the studio with Wolfsbane. It's the band he was born to sing for!

  • Blaze is not that fat like 10% mor fat than normal no 5% and Blaze Is God With His Own Band and with iron maiden! UP THE BLAZE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Are you serious? Blaze's solo stuff is some of the best metal around today.

  • kool

  • I also think he resembles Bruce Dickinson a lot in this video... he used to be quite fit on those days... pre-baldness and all

  • soo err, guess who just got a fully signed 12" picture disc wolfsbane single :D

    and for only £4 lol

fuukkin love wolfsbane, just bought another 2 of their albums and 2 more 12" singles

love em love em love em

  • blaze gets a lot of shit for being on subpar maiden albums, but he's a great singer. he just aint bruce...but no one is so dont be harsh on blaze.

  • they got back together last year to tour with the wildhearts

  • mad cunt, mad cunt, mad cunt, mad cunt, mad cunt, its okay i love this tune, shame there not around anymore, blaze bailey shud of stayed with wolfsbane, bruce is the man for maiden, rock on.

  • Why is the volume on this so low? I can hardly hear it.

  • haha i know my volumes all the way up and i can barely hear it

  • He looks like Bruce Dickinson there

Awesome stuff, prefer Blaze's solo stuff but its good fun punky metal

  • he doesnt look like bruce

  • whats your point?

  • the guitar player is a lot influenced by van halen (and he is a f**kin great musician)! it reminds me a Tesla riff...

    this is some cool shit!

  • He fits soooo much better in Wolfsbane than Maiden!

  • grande blazeeee!!!!!tifiamo x te!!!

  • sabes q mas me hace gracia? q al gente q opine asi luego NO TENGA NI PUTA IDEA DE MUSICA

    acuestate

  • Yeah, this stuff is good, but it was horrible when he was in Maiden. :Z

  • Wow, after watching this video and listen some of his solo career, I think that Blaze did not fit in Iron Maiden, but his stuff is good. I did not like both albums (x factor & Virtual XI), but I saw them the 2 times they came to Argentina

  • i just saw these with the wildhearts at wolverhampton! MANHUNT!

  • blaze's wildman persona didn't fit maiden's serious shit. they didn't use him correctly.

  • Can't beat good ol'heavy fuking metal..manhunt,manhunt,manhunt,manhunt!!!!!!!!

  • blaze baley rulez and wolfsbane are awesome

  • Thanks for uploading this, hadn't seen it before. Ive just started uploading my "in bed with wolfsbane" vid for all the HMS.

  • Please unlock your profile i wanna see In Bed With Wolfsbane chapter 1 again! I'm not a HMS but if i was around back in the day i would of been! Please let me see it again!!! Please, i wanna see Blaze Bayley, Jeff Hateley, Jase Edwards and Steve Danger again talking to the camera!

  • Blaze sounds better here than in most of Maiden's songs.

  • I totally agree with that. He didn't sound right in Maiden as his vocal was to close to Dickinsons but couldn't match up in pitch.

  • Dude, this takes me waaayyy back... Awesome though.

  • met blaze 20 years ago spoke to me for over an hour outside the powerhouse in brum was a great guy then

  • I saw Blaze at my local carboot sale last summer selling off loads of his old VIP passes and tshirts, he's was a right grumpy sod and wanted to chrge me for an autograph!

  • Wow really?

He really wanted to charge you for an autograph?

    What did you do?

  • ı dont understand anything....fuck and fuck...:):)hahaha

  • Blaze Bailey is Fucking awesome This guy Rock the casbah

  • the bass player of wolfsbane is my uncles m8 n an they cum frm the same town as me lol!

    :D

  • Blaze Bayley ftw! I love the 2 albums he made with Maiden

  • great song, blaze rules

  • LOL! Its Blaze Bailey!!!!!! He actually sounds pretty awesome on his own. Not that his stint with maiden was bad, but well, it was him vs. Iron Maiden's back catalog and He just didn't cut the mustard, though they had some extremely rocking tunes like "Futureal" and "the clansman"

  • right on. dont forget man on the edge too.

  • Yeah i read an old interview with Blaze and he seemed a bit stupid! Their best song was "Ezy" off the album "Down Fall The Good Guys" but that's a later album than this one

  • Blaze Bayley is without doubt the biggest (or should I say smallest)cunt I have ever had the misfortune of meeting.

I was in a band that supported the likes of It Bites, Litle Angels, Shy, Shotgun Symphony....and Wolsbane.

Don't get me wrong the rest of the band were brilliant and Jase was a top top guy. Blaze on the other hand was a complete and utter cunt. Talk about small guy with a chip on his shoulder. Utter twat!

  • Never even heard of these guys; this is cool!

  • Heard of Iron Maiden? Blaze was a singer in two records.

  • The interesting thing is that when Blaze was in Wolfsbane he sounded quite similar to Dickinson, but when he moved to Maiden he started to sound different.

  • does anyone know what kind of bas guitar is this one in this vide??

  • nasty mother fuckers!!!!!!!!!

  • This was just a warm up for Iron Maiden!

  • I wish Wolfsbane didn't disband as soon as Blaze left. I think risowolf is kinda right. Iron Maiden were the top band and this guy came from nowhere and he wasn't very experianced but he put in more that 100% in Maiden. you could tell he was dedicated during his Maiden years. He didn't want to dissapoint

  • tis is really good! why isnt wofsbane (and blaze) more famous??

  • What a great song. Blaze has been unfairly underrated by some people. This is a good example, vocals to this song are full of energy and power, well sung. What a pity this group didn't get further.

  • wolfsbane were a class act n had some great songs. blaze was good in maiden, but a little out of his depth i thought, but no doubtin he was/is a good metal singer. COME BACK WOLFSBANE>

  • main guitar riff is very much same than in maidens song Back in the Village

  • This is real metal, They're not trying to be more evil, Tougher than other bands. I've Always been a big fan of blaze's music. he should be more famous.

  • i used to help these guys out when they were at the castle grounds Tamworth rock fest!!! back in the mid 80's AH memorys

  • they playin gig there agin v soon!!!!

  • Nahhh, Maiden should never of Got Blaze, yeah Blaze is a great singer for death metal. He could not sing the Maiden songs as well as Dickinson did.

  • Death Metal?

  • yeah blaze rule but not is for maiden maidne is of other world for bayly but in wolfsbane is god i can't imagine dickinson sing this song like bayly but bayly never sing the songs of dickinson

    Up The Irons!!

  • This is the real blaze bayley. GREAT singer, but never a good replacement for dickinson. What a nightmare those years at maiden must have been for him

  • amen. i still have nightmares to those dark ages

  • Big time maiden fan, although blazes vocals rule in wolfsbane.

    MAAAAAAAAAAAAANHUNT

  • I think that Blaze was alot better in Wolfsbane than he was in Maiden, I didn't think Blaze was the right singer for Maiden, I do agree with you that Maiden was on the slide when Blaze joined Maiden.

  • man that guy is some kinda sexy
