I play games for the overall story so after the first gameplay, I modded the game to not have to worry about dying so I could actually focus on the gameplay. I highly recommend doing this as it worked for me.

I knew that one day Square Enix would come through, since the amount of lack luster final fantasy's I wasn't expecting Deus Ex to be that good, but I got the game and it was amazing. 8/10 is great score.

Although I agree with most of the faults Joe has stated, I still think there's more to say.

For instance, there isn't many side missions and could be difficult to trigger those missions due to the NPC's not having anything interesting to say.

Other than that 8/10 is the perfect score, GJ Joe. :)

@YesimSasori Yes, unfortunately you won't see these high-quality rendered cutscenes like the E3 trailer, but instead those plasticy looking ones. What a shame. The side-missions however are varied and well thought out. They're sometimes also relevant to the story. Do every side-quest you can find because they're worth your time.

Yea. They kinda tricked us with things in the trailer that was completely changed in the game. Love this dude's critics. Sadly, the dlc was kinda... irrelevant to the story, I mean I know it said in the description that it's another side to the story. The opening cutscenes were pretty tight, but the whole thing it just about... well see walkthroughs or play it and I was expecting more of a sequel, not some paralell world where adam got pwned.

I must disagree that the game is to difficult or punishing at least when you are not playing as fps . If you play it and use augmentations for stealth the game gives you so many choices that it is often to much. You can easily avoid everything and stealth+walk/run silently is so overpowered. And i am talking about give me deus ex difficulty .

Also the hacking game gets boring after a while.

I am absolutly fucked in this game. I had no clue there were boss battles in this game. I havent seen boss battles in modern games in a long time. So i thought i'd go metal gear solid on this one and stealth the entire game. I end up at the first boss battle With no ammo what so ever. The amount of ammo in that room + the grenade arent enough to kill him and im just stuck running around in circles.

@AliceLoveYou i was totally mindboggled on how to kill that guy and ragequit several times but turns out he is one of the easist boss battles youll encounter... in any game... just throw one of those red canisters at him, he ll be stunned for several seconds which gives you enough time to run to the next canister...just repeat until he is dead... you do not need a single bullet to take him down

@AliceLoveYou If you want to go stealth, at least make sure that you keep an upgraded revolver and a few grenades on hand for the bosses. I beat all the bosses using nothing but the revolver, and fortunately it doesn't take up too much space either. If I remember, I dropped the first boss with around 8 good headshots and 2-3 grenades. Use flashbangs to help limit your chances of missing your shots if you have them.

First off, I'm not an ardent Deus Ex fanboy. That said, there are a handful of points I'd like to rebut. However, I don't have enough space for all of them, so I'll only do so with one.

You argue the fact that the player never sees Harvesters harvesting augmentations from people in Lower Hengsha. A good point, but consider this. You never see this because they're good at what they do. Like your theatrics show, they wait until the right moment to strike on their victims.
