Super Metroid 9 Boss: Phantoon

You know, I started the ship and boss at 1 in the morning so the puking 3-headed floating skull heads that followed me was not very helpful in keeping my sanity.

This is the (2nd) most frustrating boss ever when I first played this-I still have the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ending (being 10 hours-I blame Phantoon and alot on Draygoon-first time no quick kill)

Y'know, it's been a balls-long time since the last time I played this game, (so watching this is seriously giving me a massive urge to play this again) but as I recall, you can also dodge the waves of flames with the Morph Ball by hiding in one corner or the other, instead of using the Psuedo-Screw-Attack to pass through.

i quickly turned into a morph ball and moved to a corner (the fireball's only blind spot) and panicked while going to the other. i really didn't know that holding your charge avoids that

phantoon will attack with fireball chain if u shoot a super missle at phantoon. yes it may do a lot of damage not really worth the risk if u can't dodge. beat phantoon with like 50 energy left or less. all tanks out.

I don't know if you know this, but if you only use the Charge Beam on Phantoon, it'll kill him faster and he won't have to stay on the ceiling shooting out flames all over the area.
