Hearing all the bad reviews this movie got, i decided to watch it today. And ive got to say, it was great! I don't know what the critics were talking about.
And yeah, the opinion of how good a movie is varies from person to person, i dont think you can just say a certain movie sucks and that's that. This seems to be a similar situation as the new 'Robin Hood' movie, which in my opinion was fantastic, even though these 'experts' again criticized it.

How does this get written off as a generic action movie, dispite its coherant plot, likable characters, excellent cinematography, and of course the fantastic soundtrack, while slop like transformers which has none of these is hailed as cinematic mastery ...
Yeah I don't understand why this movie got a bad rating. It had good actors, a good story, good humor, and a good evil villian. On a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being bad and 10 being awesome. I give this movie at least an 8.

This title sequence was pretty good. It was just like the original show. I'm not too crazy about the music from 0:43 - 0:57. A little too funky for the Wild Wild West.
i'd watch this mostly every day and never get sick of it. the surprising part was the end.i thought at first they were riding horses...expectant ending...i didnt see dat coming
The only thing that disaponted me in this movie, was the fact that there were no real gunfights. A true western should allways have gunfights. Anyone agree?
Good intro to a disappointing movie. I went to see that movie thinking it would be as entertaining as Men in Black... boy, was that a mistake. This movie is just over the top in certain areas, like, for example, in terms of how scantly clad some of the women are or how crude some of the jokes are, that there's just no balance. It's just another bad attempt at releasing a good Summer action/adventure flick. It's like a good movie that was ruined with immature scenes and dialog.
Anyone know what this music piece is called? It's not on the soundtrack CD, nor is the piece included in the credits at the end of the movie. And it's not the "Wild Wild West Theme", that is the rap song by Will Smith.

Ugh! Worst. TV. Remake. Ever. Why do moviemakers insist on revisiting classic series and then create a film that is SO the opposite of the original!! To quote a Jedi Master, "That is why you fail." Wish I could have a do-over for this movie. Maybe Clooney as Jim West and a cleverer script.
Well, I wouldn't say it's the opposite of the original. It's a spy thingy set in the Wild West, lots of advanced technology, a clever and suave hero. It was just bad is all.
