Actually i have the real reason why i have opened the game in double helix and i went to check out the actual sprite and apparently as AlexRmetroid said they did not put it in the game the only thing that will do anything to the SA-X is you can freeze it also the total amount of damage the SA-X has is 64000.

I have a normal question concerning scripts... Why's the ice beam freeze enemies and the SA-X?

It was only (normally) usable on the Omega, which can't be frozen, but use it early, and many enemies actually freeze before dying... especially in TRO.

Because it's pretty much the same ice beam that SA-X uses, and that can freeze you. Most likely the designers just took the freezing effect from ice/diffusion missiles and applied it to ice beam. Therefore, it freezes everything diffusion missiles can.

@WayneJr87 its possible that it was originally going to be implemented earlier into the game, but was taken out for whatever reason until the very end.

the story does make it very unlikely though, since samus can't use the ice beam (absorbing SA-X somehow allowed her to use it regardless of her metroid dna), but then again that could have been adam saying that she couldn't use it, using metroid dna as an excuse, to prevent her from using it to kill things.

in short, who knows.

@OriginalZero Samus always had the potential to use the Ice Beam. The Federation lied to her in order to prevent her from becoming too powerful, should she ever discover the Metroid breeding program and decide to wipe them out. Her Metroid DNA didn't factor into it, it was just the excuse used.

Additionally, not that it matters, but they could write it off bt simply saying that the Original SA-X was patrolling but was destroyed with the metroids with the weaker self replicated clones running around the station. But it really is the script.

there are 2 differant copies of the sa-x , the earliest one u see (in the vid) is the "Immortal" Sa-x , it cant take damage. The "Mortal" Sa-x (at the end of the game) is vunerable to the final beam, so if u were able to put the mortal sa-x where u were, ud be able to fight it like the (second) final boss fight

The programmers did not intend for you to kill the SA-X, neither did they intend for you to use cheats. It's simple, you are not supposed to fight it there in the first place; and it does not get weaker, the programming at the end of the game ALLOWS you to kill it.

As everyone else already stated, they programmed the SA-X to be immortal at that time. Why? Because the creators expected people to play the game like it's supposed to be, not hack it and attempt to kill the SA-X on the first encounter. So there was no reason to make it a "killable" enemy. The SA-X never got weaker at all. It's just Samus became more powerful and had no opportunity to defeat her until the end.
