  • I have 29 years old, and If I was in the class, I would say to him: get the fuck out of my way asshole, Im out of here, you block me, I am starting fighting him until death. end of the movie.

  • why does everybody immediatly thinks that when there is one movie everywhere in the countrie it is the same shit. I'm dutch and my classes (not all but some) are sometimes going this way. Does that mean that every class in the whole netherlands go like that. Poeple don't be so silly you know that a movie is most of the a little bit blown up as the real thing. sorry formy bad english

  • enough with the reviews already, I want to watch the actual trailer

  • Why i think that Estonian Klass (Class) is 100% better? go just check it out , its even with english subtitles ;)

  • @sampflyingknife puhutko suomea? xD

  • Ripoff of Dangerous Minds

@nikki613bastard this is what happens when other countries don't have much innovation and ignorant kids don't think before they open their ugly mouths.

  • @ghandileftearth stfu. this movie is 100x better than that. fucking americans always thinking they are the best...

  • @TheDM75 um pardon moi, mais je suis americain. there is not a best country in the world. all countries have much to offer. france has given much to society as with other countires. please dont let a few people affect your view on everyone.

  • i LOVE world cinema and this movie, this clip is an example of why i love world cinema :)

  • I'm french, and I'm 14 years old so I'm still a student, and I can tell all you people that, some french schools are like that. Not ALL, but some of them. I'm in a french school, and students are not like that at all. Our school is quite strict.

I didn't watch the movie, but I was interested about it, because the actor at 0:40 is the new principal of my school... I swear, he is.

  • @MissJennTV It would be normal since this movie has no real actors they´re all teachers, though the principle teacher no longer teaches, he wrote a book which originated this movie, called the Class too. About what you said, it depends of course of the school but probably this is the reality of a public school who has a lot of different ethnicities and if you read the book or watch the movie (though the book is really good) you will see there´s a lot of social problems related to this.

  • can someone please post the film with the subtitles!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Don't let anyone tell you otherwise - this film is fucking excellent. I showed it to my class who had never even contemplated watching a film with subtitles and they ending up saying that "this is reality" - truly a reference.

  • You cannot say that when diversity and migration is a permanent and rewarding challenge for the entire school system.

  • this movie shows us the reality in some french schools, but not in all! I'm French and I was in a difficult school but it doesn't mean that we were all insolent or ignorent. It's just that actually there is a sort of unease in French schools... and we can be French but with african roots as well as italian roots. So these kids are for the majority French.

  • OMG Watching this movie was the best 2 hours of my life ;D I even watched it for free on

    *** Movies Ace . C0m ***

  • Good movie,but overrated

  • How authentic is this? Is this what rough French schools are really like?

I went to a school in Strasbourg in 1992 and it was nothing like this. There was far less trouble in the classroom.

It looks as though the French teens have adopted the worst habits of Americans and discarded the good qualities of the French.

  • Most teens behave like that, besides that most kids in this movie are not french, most of them are arabs and africans

  • @MondoBeno This is a junior high school in a suburb neighbourhood (here, not strictly suburb -near the limit between Paris and its southern popular surburb- but similar). It does not happen in every junior high and no longer in high schools since there's a big selection that bars many to even survive. I presume that Strasbourg is a little posher than this, especially because the fight to welcome exchange students is one that leaves those schools aside. But it already existed 1994 : 1DvK5_DpFw0.

  • this looks like a french version of Freedom Writers with Hilary Swank

  • This is was such an amazing movie! Loved it!

  • this m0vie - is now watchable online y @ MOOV ZON . COM Google the above link

  • was this film scripted, if so them wow thats amazing

  • I watched this movie 2 days ago with my french class. When I went there, I was like "o man, not some stupid french movie again"

but this movie is simply great, really! Go watch this one instead of some Hollywood-commerce

  • Why do people who like french movies always say so in the context of disliking American ones? Stop starting fights and have a little mutual appreciation!

  • @darmani212 sorry, i should've expressed myself a little clearer: I do like Hollywood movies. the thing is: you can buy any hollywood movie on dvd and watch them at home

BUT: that's not so easy with movies like this one

at least here in Germany where I live

So, if you have the opportunity to watch a movie like this in cinema, watch it instead of a hollywood movie you can buy on dvd

  • Alright, I can agree with that.

  • There are better french movies than this one, like joyeux noel and amelie

  • that's right

amélie really is a great movie [one of my favourites ;)]

but: I think you can't really compare these two movies

they handle two absolutely different subjects and also they have been made under totally different circumstances. Amélie is a 'normal' movie whereas Entre les murs is a class project done in school.

So, in my opinion there's no 'better one' because they are both good in their own way ^^

  • joyeux noel is also better movie, also femme nikita

  • There are better french movies like this one, watch joyeux noel and amelie

  • Looks good, don't know how I'd find a copy though :s

  • My new favourite movie.

    A masterpeice.

Francois isn't hard to look at either!

  • loved it. idk why but a lot of people didnt...

  • Great movie.

  • Just finished watching it. Great movie.

  • I want to see this movie, is there an english version? It looks sooooo good

  • watch it in french with the subtitles, thats how it was meant to be. would sound stupid dubbed.

  • This is why I should watch more European movies than Hollywood's.

  • OMG I loooved this movie :D

  • vasy c pourri comme tous les films français apart quelques uns

  • This movie is amazing. Everyone must see it who cares about education... high school... youth...

probably going in my top 3 movies of 2009. It will be very hard for multiple movies to top this in just a year.

  • It is actually an amazing movie...So very good

  • wow no comments o.O this looks interesting. dont see much happening tho so mmm...
