I wouldn't be ask excited about this movie if I didn't already know one of the former "Buffy" writers did the script! This is verrrry Disturbia-like, but so are many other "ghoul" next door movies. Definitely going to watch it!

the original movie is only scary if you are afraid of disco. and yes I am VERY afraid. because disco sucks, and disco vampires suck even more. hopefully this one will have more bite / edge than the trite papsmear asscrap that the 80s turd was, but Im not expecting much. looks like they got rid of the Roddy McDowall character, and he and evil ed were the only fun things in that movie. Sarandon as a vampire (?) LOL better off having Father Guido Sarduchi as a vampire.

The original is one of my favorite horror/comedies of all time. This one seems like it will suck. But it has Collin farrel in it, and he's usually the best part of the movies he's in, so I'll give this a chance, but I'm keeping my expectations really low.
