Guys that's not the Dark Sonic Hack, if you look closely at certain points you can see Sonics eyes. Dark Sonic had no pupils in his eyes just white this hack had pupils in the eyes.

Well, okay, a color code surely isn't the most awesome thing to do, yeah. For the movie's defense I could say that it also features a speedmodifier, but meh.

And well, mmm, yeah, I'm sure a completely revamped ROM would surely take more effort than to hack this kinda stuff, you got a point there.

Though as far as the definition of "hacked videogames" goes, it also includes applying Action Replay codes.

(not to mention to create them, but ... blergh, "extreme Hacking movieZ"

and, well, you put the uncrypted codes into the left field of the encryption thing and hit "proceed" to encrypt them.

If there are letters such as "XX" or "YY", or anything that is neither a number nor a letter between A and F in the uncrypted code, then you are expected to replace those letters with something else before encrypting.
