Wow that was great...and yeah i agree with jarbafat, the entire time I was listening to that I was thinking about Coheed...anyway that song kicks, bien fait, monsieur.
I'm really looking forward to going back through these clips and learning what I can from a laid-back and knowledgeable instructor such as yourself, at my own pace. (Not to mention my eagerness to hear more of them)
Yeah, Co&Ca was one of my favorite bands for a long time. I still enjoy them every now and then. A few years back though, they were a huge influence on me.
Actually, I got the Explorer before I got into Coheed. It was always a guitar that I wanted, and then I found a good deal on it so I picked it up. I've also replaced one of the pickups with a Semour Duncan JB as well. I really enjoy it now, because I like to play jazz/rock stuff. It always throws people off when they see me pull out an explorer, and then I start playing jazzy stuff.
@Drawthemoral I remember when you got the Explorer... Standing right next to you while your eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store... Miss you brother.

Yes...that's actually how a lot of my songs have been composed. It starts with some riffs, and then I try to put them together to make an emotionally coherant song.
It's never about better or worse than someone else. It's about being creative with where you are at.

yoyoyodaman93yo 3 years ago
Thanks! I built the toys up over a period of several years. Unless you are rich, that's the way to do it.
