  • I think they should not be able to be adopted. I was attacked by one this summer and have the scares to prove it. But it is not the animals fault they are not pets!

  • @punkydiana032178

The fault is on humans, the devil on Earth.

  • @punkydiana032178 Wolf Hybrids are fine as pets if you know what your doing. Obviously the one who attacked you the owners didn't know what they were doing They make good pets for the right people like most breeds of Dogs there are some breeds of Dogs that shouldn't be able to be pets either mostly working Dogs because they need a job to do if they don't have a job the Dog will be disastrous and destroy things from being bored like a Husky for example.

  • looks like he could use a brushing out but still beautifiul

  • it was a wolf high content right away, but back in the 80-early 90 he used to take the dog to the corner Vet, get jabbed with the medicine every year and leave. He never brought him home he was in store which he loved, it was a large shades store, so he had nearly 10000 feet plus a yard.

Its funny he used to tell me funny stories of how he was " a few screws loose" how he would sleep ontop of large shelves ( he was about 120lbs!) how he was always robbing food from the workers.

  • I'd love a pet like that.

  • My son owns a dog coyote hybrid. Looks more like a coyote. She is such a lovable pet. Except for one little thing. If she gets loose, it seems that she never fails to find something smelly to roll in.

  • It so beautiful!

  • It is a shame that wolves and wolf hybred have such a bad reputation. I owned a wolf/ dog mix, best dog I ever owned. You really have to be strong to own one, and when they are little, you have to train them that you are the alpha, or you can end up with problems.

  • I owned a wolf hybrid about 25 years ago - he was the sweetest thing. Never had any "wild" behaviour. True, I had him since he was 6 weeks old, and he never had contact with this father's side of the family. He lived to be 12.

  • -continued- It's not all that dangerous, either. All domestic dogs are related to wolves somewhere down the line; tiny little shih-tzus are one of the most closely related breeds.

  • People saying that this is dangerous: Remember that the hybrid itself is not a wild animal. It never existed in the wild; one of it's parents did. Part of it has the instincts of a wolf, but it also has some of the traits of a loveable domestic dog. It's not a full wolf, and it doesn't have all the instincts of one. It's not hardwired to be a dangerous. And full wolves aren't ruthless killing machines. I'm not saying that it's safe, but if you take care of it and train it right it's not all tha

  • @YumeNyaa you really do not know a thing about genetics do you, Owning a wolf hybrid is a very risky thing for most people as naturally people are idiots and think that owning a puppy or a cat is an easy gig most people buying a dog buy it due to its looks. You wonder why that wolves in a cage at a shelter well its owner obviously wasint a very respectable leader and pet owner. It still has its instincts and may choose to act upon them training is key but its not fool proof. some dogs L.L. wolves

  • are those dangerous?

  • Awe! He's so cute!

  • beautiful animal, it's a shame she's part wild.

  • waaaant so bad

  • oooo sooo bea-UTIFUL <3 i wld take it home in a heartbeat too

  • poor thing, i would take him in in a heart, such a beautiful wolf hybrid

  • You can so see the wolf in it!!! Lovly animal!

  • it is just a siberian husky ppl ive had like 17 and so yea this preson dont no what he/she is talking about.

  • @killer101210 Lol, if you've had 17 then you should know this is not a husky. Everything is different in this dogs head, coat and tail. Look closer.

  • the perfect animal: wolf, mixed with a husky(1 of the best dogs ever)

  • It's so beaufitul. It has characteristics of both a husky and a wolf which is awesome because both animals are like fucking perfect lol

  • i want it.

  • hows it a hybrid

  • Its half wolf and half huskie

  • I LOVE WOLVES!

  • ahaha he's like "wait...are you filming me?"

  • i use to have a wolf hybrid he was part german shepherd. i miss that dog they are so loyal. they are very social and obedient

  • Omg so beautiful!

  • I knew a girl with a wolf hybred and it was huge and had beautiful eyes and it was very good natured.

  • cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute

  • i say we stop with all the cross breading only because we heart the breed we end up with and as 4 the hole breeding the wolf down to get ride of its traits i say that's BS only because its a WILD ANIMAL leave it in the willed it need the traits to live so leave them the hell alone and stop with the fucking cross breading its wrong and in human

  • AGREEE 100 o/o... no mixing..

  • No, it's very human to tnker with things we probably shouldn't. It's just not nice to do that and then expect it to magically behave like a normal dog. I've known quite a few wolf crosses and mixes and some of them were nasty, some very friendly, but none that I would trust especially when aroused by food or toys.

  • Spell check is your friend.

  • My grandparents own a wolf cross, She the biggest most pathetetic dog ever. Such a baby. 75+ lbs.

  • look its balto :D

  • thats original hahah... lol. No insult intended. Just find it funny and cute lololol

  • i would so get that wolf hybrid if i saw him in the shelter but the worst part would be is my parents who say no xD

  • i'm sorry but the worst part would be that you probably wouldn't be able to take care of it properly and it would end up back in the shelter.

  • yeah your right with that one xD

  • 2 cute

  • he is so cute

  • It does not matter what the animal is it's the owner that makes them bad! I have been attacked more by "Tamed" animals. Never been attacked by a wild one! Dogs, birds, cats you name it ,they all attack from lack of owners knowledge of the animal. You can live with any animal if you know how they work. You must be a leader on thieir level. Body languge is the key! I teach mine using a American sign languge.

  • @nudetube2 uve not been attacked by wild animals often because u dont live in the wild..lol

  • @nudetube2 Would you try to dominate a lion in the wild, facing you? Would you mix a lion with a domestic cat, and pet it? I wouldn't even if the result is 50% positive...why... wild animals respond to their basic insincts.... and if you make one mistake, they wont miss it...its not just about how you train them, its all about the way they behave in nature... except for dog and cats, wich are domestic animals since thousands of years. Those who don't know them well, should never approach them.

  • @nudetube2

wildwild? like "i was able to cuddle a wild raccoon"?

  • They eat raw meat, able to eat an entire carcus, skin bones and all (minus the stomach) they wont eat that. They will gorge themselfs on one meal and may not eat again for a day or two. They are timid ,very shy,VERY non agressive! They would rather run away than attack unless you corner them or come between a pup. they take up to one family for life.If they get seperated from that family they will die from depression. Most loyal animal on the planet! Not a dog, can't treat them like dogs!

  • Full Blooded wolves- Tails never curl, Toenails always black, Ears never flop, Dark bellies, Never dew claws, forehear slopes more to the back, paws are huge , teeth are huge and curl more towards rear, no hair between the pads on thier feet. They have 1500-1800 PSI of jaw pressure. Same as a bear. They can jump over 6 feet high flat footed, run 40 MPH wiegh up to 175 LBS and live on average 16 yrs I had one that lived 18. Thier fur is always grey black or white, never spotted nor multi colored.

  • yea but this one is a hybrid with diff dogs... just saying :)

  • oh yeah? full blooded wolves can run at up to 40MPH and have a bite as strong as a bear. do you want people walking those down the street or would you rather we breed that part down? valid question because the permit i need to own a wolf hybrid allows me to own pure blooded wolves, leopards, bears, cougars and many other sorts of wildlife. my choice of pet lies completely in your hands. please help.

  • i love him or her! she or he is gorgious

  • he is beautiful :)))))))))))))

  • im sure they can bu not completely, can wolf dog hybrids breed?

  • since no one answered when you asked... yes they can breed. The only cross animal that can not breed is a JackAss I belive and they are born steral, because there DNA is close but not close enough. Wolfs, coyotes, and domestic dogs are all the same as a matter of fact coyotes and domestic dogs came from the Wolf in the first place.

  • thats what i thought thanks

  • Ok, you're an idiot. There are LOTS of hybrids that can't breed. And also... a Jackass is just a donkey. You were thinking of a mule (horse donkey cross)

  • OK RON.. Im an idiot because I got a breed name mixed up... BUT IM NOT A RUDE NAME CALLING ASS HOLE... So im still one up on you. But hey thanks for your comment and your ever powerful wisdom.

  • a wild wolf that i got to pet was his dad!

  • my old dog buddy was half red wolf and like 1/8 each of a few other breeds

  • I don't really know much about wolf hybrids and i wouldn't turn one down if someone offered me one but i thinkm it's unfair to keep full wolves as pets because they are wild and thats were they should be. However if they're born in captivity they probably can't survive well in the wild so it's better to have them as a pet

  • either in a park where theyre controled and able to survive or in the wild.. not as a pet, they need lotsa room. wolf hybrids are alright to keep as pets though, as long as they get enough excercise, and love!! alot of people fail to love their pets, to me that's animal abuse.

  • hybrid with wat??

  • 3 of them are timber, Canadian Tundra, and about 10% of Sib. Husky. The males daddy was 1/8 Sib. Husky down the line, and timber wolf

My female is timber, nothing else

  • I have 4 wolves. They are beautiful animals. My oldest is 7 and I have had her since she was 10 wks old. They have never tried to bite anyone. Yet, I rescued at 2 different times chih/terriors and had to give back, because they attacked me and bit me.I'll take my fur babies upside any ankle biter!!!

  • NOTICE I said Terriors, as in TERRORS!!!

  • rather have a wolf hybrid than one jack russel in my backyard

  • Isn't that the truth!!!

  • Listen weykooey, Fuck you, I would never ever kill a wolf. Sometimes i would rather see a wild animal like the wolf be in the wild instead. I'm sick and tired of wolves getting killed by hunters, It makes me sick! And your calling me a "dumbass"? just because I said that? You're sick. Go get a fucking life you dumbass!

  • weykooey, Go suck a dick, you asshole! And Don't you fucking call me a dumbass, you dickhead.

  • soooooooooooo adorable tho

  • Blood fang???

    you are a dumbass,

if you turn domestic raised animals lose in "the wild" , you may as well save them the suffering and kill them quick.

  • Weykooey your acctually right. They've lost many of their instincts. i think they would have a very hard time adapting to to their nature.

  • CandyCrayon91: Look i didn't say that wolves arent wild animals. Why did you think I said SAVE THE WOLF!? If I raised a wolf pup and it was all grown up. I'd keep it first and then take it back to the wild where it belongs. What the hell yourself! Godamit! I care about these creatures. Behides, I've heard that a lot of people kept wolves/wolf hybrid as pets!

  • There so smart and cool aren't they Slywolf763? But why do people just ignore these beautiful creatures and treat them like crap?! And they even kill them and use them as an abuse! It needs to stop right now! :'(

I'm sick and tried of people acting like there so evil! SAVE THE WOLF!

  • I love Wolves! There one of my favorite animals! I want one for a pet!

  • there my fav 2

  • Okay, what the hell?

Wolves are naturally wild animals, not meant for a pet's life. If you love wolves so much, you should allow them their freedom, and get a husky or a shepherd instead.

That should be enough wolf for you to handle.

  • Wolves were at sometime domesticated. God did not just create the domestic dog. It happened because people domesticated it. I believe that can still be done today. Besides I hate that dogs are so genetically watered down.

  • I have 4, nothing wrong with that. I have raised them from pups. They are awesome animals. And as poor as I am, i wouldn't take $1,000.00 for any of mine. There is no price on the bond of a sweet wolf and its momma, mine love me like no other animal can.

  • I think I would like to rescue *not buy* one when I get my own place and established. I love the company of canines. I want to learn more about wolf dogs before I do it though, to be fair to the creature, make sure that's what I really want. I'm ok with a big, intelligent long lived animal that needs lots of attention...

  • I love wolves and I have seen a friend that has one for a pet...I really want one! From Delaney

  • That is an extremely low content animal.I bet the shelter only thought he was a hybrid because of the owner. There are so many misrepresented animals on youtube. Not to mention you get a ton of wolfdog "Experts" making claims about how hard they are to train. Funny how many of them use percentages to back up their claims, when any experienced wolfdog owner knows that percentages are a false way to label these animals.A wolfdog is a highly adaptable. The owner and poor breeding are to blame.

  • hes soooo gawjus!

  • needs a brush!!

  • You are right, and shortly after this video was taken a groomer was called in to cut away

severely matted areas and groom this gentle boy.

  • It looks more like a husky

  • a good friend of mine had a timberwolf crossed with a german shepard a top dog great with kids big on size very loving 100percent faithful

  • BEAUTIFUL. I want one.

  • i would buy it :D

  • For those of you who want a wolf hybrid..might I suggest that you do some research before getting one. Mine is 82% wolf and 18% Malamute. While he is the sweetest hybrid you will ever meet..not all of them are sweet. They are VERY VERY VERY intelligent and highly energetic. You need to remember that these are NOT domesticated dogs and some cities/towns you are NOT allowed to have them. Also remember if you ever have to get rid of it to a pound..they WILL WILL WILL euthanize it! Please Think

  • Good advice. I provided sanctuary to wolf-dogs up north, naturally occurring phenomenon, not breeder manipulation, and not all of them sweet, good dogs. The most unfortunate outcome of this type of breeding is a that an improperly raised hybrid is usually better off being put down as they would likely die if released into the wild anyway.

  • It depends on the laws in your area whether or not you can adopt them (with ot Without a license) and do you know they actually do have an approved rabies/distemper vaccine for them yet? It seems that they're getting pretty popular.

  • whatvso hybrid about it?

  • thats not a wolf its a wolfhusky

  • hybrid*

  • i owned a wolf hybrib once. they are smart and are just as trainable as any dog. my dad got rid of it though cuz he was afraid of it. he wouldn't admit it though and said the neighbor was afraid of it.

  • Wrong, I have had the pleasure of adopting 2 wolf hybrids in my life, they are 3 times as smart as a domesticated dog, they are gentle, they can be trained, they are un trusting of humans outside their human pack. They are not viscious, unless they have been abused as are domesticated dogs, but un like a dog an abused wolf dog can be re introduced to a loving caregiver and home.

  • cool i want one!!

  • I heard that wolves are much smarter than dogs, but they're impossible to teach. Do you think that this hybrid is smarter than other domesticated dogs? If so, could you provide examples of their intelligence? They certainly look good.

  • 1--never choose a pet/companion for their appearance. That is just selfish and vain.

2--wolf hybrids are highly intelligent. The one I used to know was always thinking-you could watch the mind turning behind her eyes. Also, they are quite trainable, one just must understand their body language, behaviors, and needs. You have to be the pack leader.

3--DO YOUR RESEARCH. And make sure you have enough money to support something that may well eat as much as you and need regular vet visits.

  • i kinda think it was a huskey....

  • BTW thats a MID content, could be great could be a pain, Phenotype mid-mid high. Geno type can not be known. Either way, dont do it, have booty instead, trust me.

  • THEY ACT AND BEHAVE NOTHING like dogs, owner 30 yrs of wolf and hybrids, AND samoyed siberian husky's. Do Yourself a favor and the Dog/wolf a favor, the "cool" last little the pet a lifetime. DONT get one till you know ALL the facts.

  • I HAVE HAD MANY WOLF HYBRIDS, even the mid-low content are hard to handle. they do NOT make good pets, if you have children forget about it. It IS a 12 to 18 year commitment. I love them, but not for most people. sorry. DO not get one, they PEEE everywhere and HATE anything new including people. 30 years of wolf and wolf hybrid talking. Majestic YES, SMART yes, STRONG Very yes. Sociable not very much, Im sorry they are lovely, but DO NOT MAKE GOOD PEts!!!!!TRUST ME!!!

  • lol, whatever. i still want one though. I read your whole comment message, but i just want a hybrid anyways.

  • YOU are wrong!!!Mine love children. I trained my female and she is a grey timber. Pretty much full blood. They are like babies. It is in all how you raise them!! My oldest is 7, never has she ever tried to bite. And loves kids. I used to take my grandaughter out in yard with her at 6 months old.If you do not abuse them and are gentle, they will be gentle. And do NOT give them raw meat!!

  • post video,

everybody on youtube seems to have Wolves.

most don't even know what they are?

I want to know the people who really do have what they say.

  • it looks cuddley!!

  • What ever the creature it is up to the owner how that creature is going to be. Stop blaming the creature. No creature is born bad.

  • Save him don't neuter him he is beautiful.

All dogs descended from the wolf in the first place.

So of the most loving creatures I have known were wolves.

A female licked me in the face then put her paw into my bent arm to gently pull me to her.

They want to avoid confrontation. Please don't hurt him in any way.

Find a loving zoophile and he will be in very good hands.

  • i have a wolf dog

    his name is sampson

  • I would have adopted that wolf hybrid in a heartbeat.

  • wolfs defietly are beautiful

  • nice looking dog, would love to own one of those

  • its BALTO!!!!!

  • if i owned it i'd name it balto

  • Aww. I want one :3

  • hybrid of what

    dog and wolf?

  • of both a hybrid wolf means a mix between wolf and dog. most of the hybrids are mixs between malamutes and wolves or german sheaperds and wolves. And their NOT safe pets their part wild animal but its very possible to own and love a wolf hybrid.

  • didnt dogs evolve from wolfs?

  • Yep , ALL dogs evolved from wolves

  • even chuwawas(sp)?

  • Yep , them too . Dogs are almost unique for the fact that no animal on earth has the diversity in size , shape and colour that you find in the canine world .

  • Dogs and wolves are the same species, but wolves are the wild form. Not only that they are the wild, persecuted form, which means that all wolves today are very nervous and reactive individuals. Not good pets. It's not a good ideas to cross them with dogs either, because they could get a medley of wild and domestic behaviors that make them both unsuitable to live with other wolves or dogs and also unsuitable to live with people. It's not a very good life for an intelligent and social animal.

  • Poor beautiful animal. If I was nearby I'd go get him and take him home.

  • I think it might be half bred with a small husky i have a half husky half poodle mix it has less fur but its thick and the same face as that dog does they usually have like a short stout nose but mine has the longer nose of a poodle but a lil shorter because of the chow in him so its a possiblity that the wolf/dog is bred with something along those lines

  • A wolf with the friendly attitude of a (and by the looks power of a wolf aswell) dog. I really want that Wolf/Dog.

  • That things kickass.

  • MUST HAVE IT AHHH!!!!!! T-T no fair they wont lemme in... T-T

  • poor baby!

  • what kind of hybrid breed is this, malamute?

  • No, I used to have a malemute, and it was thicker than this. I think that this is a half wolf half malemute, since they do breed them. I don't know why anyone would want a wolf/gigantic dog, but they do i guess.

  • thanks

  • Wolf Hybrid!

  • It must be thinking, my domesticated cousins are dimwits.... Go Free and feel the wind in your pelt! This so called 'food' is disgusting! Give me some meat! And fresh too! Not frozen or from 1 week ago! Grr. I hate humans.

  • i think its cute xD

  • They are unpredictable and can nip a little

more than regular dogs but it depends on the individual. Look at videos of Wolves in the wild to understand why they need the wild more than other canines. I think they integrate better with each other than humans.

  • If I could buy that wolf hybrid, I'd name him Balto. Or if it's a girl, Jenna.

  • Wolf-Hybrids are considered unadoptable from many, if not most, shelters because they are considered to be unpredictable as far behavior goes (possible aggression), and therefore considered a liability risk. Even though I don't think they should be bred and for sale to the general public;

The truth is that there are many out there that would make good companions to the right adoptor-

  • I would so buy him..or her.

Did you know that the most savage animals like Husky(sp?),wolfs, Raccoons so on so on are the most Loaily)sp?( things to ever live if they think of you as family!!

  • this is true...which is why u must get the animal at a very veyr young age so it grows up thinking your family or it wont get that bond with you,but then you must also socialize it more with other dogs and humans or it could be very aggresive to anyone who comes near the "pack" member which is why the are unadoptable in most areas...but thats mostly for adults..

  • why are theu un-adoptable in some areas?

  • Wolfs are gentle i don't think theres ever been documentet a man killed by a wolf. but im not sure

  • Nice dog it looks harmless and I'd love to get it but my parents won't let me get one

  • Unlike other well known hybrids, like ligers, wolfdogs are fertile, because, when it comes to genetics, wolf DNA is identical to dog DNA.

By the way, very cute female.

  • Aint that my mom?!

  • I have had a wolf and german shepard mix

  • Just be careful, these dogs are half cast with a wild animal not just another breed of good looking dog.

  • I have a wolf dog hes part timber wolf part artic wolf and part husky.75% wolf his names Dakota

  • Good, I want a timber wolf/husky so bad. I love the face markings the wolves have.

  • over a year ago, it's doubtful that poor guy is still alive. Shelters will not adopt out Wolfdogs unless its to a licensed sanctuary.

  • i want that dog sooo much!

  • She's beautiful.

  • wow she is so pretty

  • where is the Shelter?

  • balto! sorry... ignore me

  • she is gorgeous

  • wold are such a pretty animals right? they looks so awsome:D good job god

  • aww its a pretty dog. it breaks my heart to see animals in the shelter i encourage all of you to adopt a shelter animal? how would you like it if you were locked up in poor conditions day and night?

  • I think if a wolf and a rabbit were crossed, that'd be kinda cute.

  • I'd be careful with wolf dogs. My cousin had one and she litteraly destroyed ever part of their back yard. Everything from their pool, chewed up metal, and even the ground is rough and bumpy now.

  • its true folks,my science teacher told me that his wolf dog dug holes everywhere

  • these animals should be trained for work where handlers are one-on-one, such as police dogs. then there'd be no "can't adopt them out" problems!

  • What the heck is wrong with it?

  • I don't really care what mix it is I'll bet it would be sweet if trained right. People don't get the connection between bad pet owners who do nothing to disipline there dogs and wild, out-of-control dogs.

  • BTW, people are so irrational and terrified of common dog behaviors. Even at the Dog Park I go to, people up there who you would think "know" dogs are so ignorant. When my Alpha JRT growls another dog off, or snaps at them for trying to mount here, they think she's grumpy. When my Huskita howls, I had a lady complain, and another ask with wide eyes "OMG, does she have Wolf in her?" I just replied "Well if she does, then all the better". Fortunately the regulars I know are more knowledgable.

  • I have two dogs, a Jack Russell Terrier and an Akita/Husky mix. They both get along great, and have bonded like sisters despite the fact the JRT was 5 yrs old when I brought home the current Huskita puppy. Some say two Females of dominant breeds never get along, I say look at my two, they prove that theory wrong. Just the same goes for the Wolf-Dog, I guarantee you I could take that canine and proceed to dismiss every assumption people have about such a mix.

  • i hate to break it to you but that is part wild animal it would be like taking home a wolf. you can take the animal out of the wild but you cant take the wild out of the animal.i too own a JRT and she does the same thing to other dogs but the reson people thing your other dog is part wolf is because she might look like one have you ever though about that!Man! yoo are the ignorent one!

  • There are some dangerous problems that can be found in wolf mixes. They possess a wolf's will to dominate but due to the dog in them they don't know not to kill other dogs. Wolves don't kill a pack member because they know they need all pack members to hunt. Dogs lack this knowledge because of domestication. Not all wolf dogs are like this but it is too risky to take a chance.
