  • @foolscrow666 You are not by Yourself! We all that love real rock and roll miss it instead of this technoed fusion horse shit whatever it is they try to pass off now days as rock and roll. Nine Inch Nails pfft shit; covering other peoples songs borrowing from funk and rock song of the past and talking their bull shit over it. often wondered what happend to them Hope they get to come to the UK !!

    " little caesar YOU ROCK!!!

  • seen these guys in 89'/90' with Burning Tree (Marc Ford before Black Crowes.) in Tampa.

and to this day one of the best show ever, BOTH were Headliners in my book....

    Great Stuff.....

checkout Burning Tree if you're not familiar......hard to find though..

  • Not only does this song rock yer arse off, the entire album does! Cajun Panther, From The Start...not an ounce of filler on this entire album. This is dirty, grungy, Louisiana style blues biker rock at it's best!

  • the singer was the guy thrown out of the bar by arnold shcwartzenegger i

    n" the terminator"

  • I literally have looking for this song for over 5 years. Amazing!!! These boys ROCK!!

  • besides being the best cover of any song by any band, this is about the best song ever recorded!

  • One of the best covers ever recorded! Today's "bands" can't even compare to bands like this.

  • Great vocals

  • L O V E his voiceeeeee!!!!!

  • who out there was at bull dog bash about 1992/3 watching this band with me. This band live was red hot.

very underrated just some much good shit out in them days they had little chance but let me tell you i also guns and roses at main road manchester and this lot blow them way. I have to admitt they did not touch matallic but respect to them all

i guess the sixtys for mum and dad and the nintys for me

  • Despite the group's chart success, they had problems maintaining a popular image, due in part to their heavily tattooed membership. They remained with Geffen for a sophomore release, Influence in 1992, but neither Rock nor Kalodner continued working with them. By this time, guitarist Apache had left and was replaced with Earl Slick. After Influence failed to sell, the group disbanded. Ron Young later went on to sing in The Four Horsemen, Manic Eden, and Dirt.

  • The band was founded late in the 1980s by Ron Young, who had previously worked as a nightclub bouncer.[1] The group independently released an EP which led to their signing with Geffen Records in 1989. John Kalodner did A&R work for the group, and Bob Rock produced their debut self-titled album, which was released in 1990 to positive reviews.[1] On the strength of the singles "Chain of Fools" and "In Your Arms", Little Caesar hit number 139 on the US Billboard 200 in 1990

  • Circa 1990- Little Caesar and Love/Hate rocked the freak out of me in highschool.

    Rock On!!!!

  • Im her dad and I played the shit out of this tape back in the day!!!!!!!!!! Double thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If anyone wants to buy a Little Caesar poster then contact me

    :)

    //Benn

  • I remember buying the cassette of this when it came out and wore it out. The tape even broke playing this song. It's Areatha's song, but these guys made it rock!

  • I defy ANYONE to hear this version in a bar,and ,NOT start singing it....Great Cover..One of MY ALL TIME favorite covers

  • @trevLV the greatest cover of any song by any band!

better than a double espresso to get the heart pumping!

  • @trevLV I agree, one of the best covers of the generation. The singer has a great voice! Also, the dude is in Terminator 2.

  • my blood pressure is about 1000 over 600 when i listen to this!!!!! get off your feet ladies and shake it!!!

  • I'm 52 and this CD is still in rotation. My kids even have copies. You just have to love a band that thanks their tatoo parlor in their liner notes. On a side note, the lead singer, Ron Young, was in the very beginning of T2. He was the pool player.

  • My favorite cover of this song ever! I used to listen to this disc over and over til all my cd's got stolen.... :-(

  • I own the new disc. Pretty damn good !!

  • BTW The band does a pretty good job.

  • the band never broke up. geffen fucked them much like he did neil young, they are back stronger than ever new cd is out as mp3 on amazon but european hard copy comming soon, the new cd is called redemption check it out!

  • Slick!!!!

    -M. Muckle

  • @whitemusiclover Indeed, and honestly, it's pretty damn good!!

  • @whitemusiclover Geffen Records, MTV, corporate radio and most of the world weren't ready for Little Caesar in 1989. If people got to hear this music it would have taken off.

Geffen did screw up Neil Young's career. His Geffen era was the low point in his career. Maybe Neil had something to do with it. It seemed during the '80s every Neil album was a totally different style and it wasn't sincere.

  • Sorry Aretha, this is the definitive version of this song.

    Balls on.

  • @FellowWorker1905 According to you and her

  • Do you know what definitive means?

If so you wouldn't have embarassed yourself with that comment.

  • cheapskate -in the words of Bender, bite my shiny metal a##.

Do you know the meaning of that?

  • Ahh ...the embarassment continues.

    shiny metal a## ?

Did you mean the fecal encrusted anus of an illiterate trailer-trash piece of shit ?

I know the meaning of that.

  • I don't know about 'definitive', but until I heard this version, I had very little use for this song; I think it helped me appreciate the original better. Van Halen's version of "Dancin' In The Streets" does the same thing...PEACE.

  • their new album is pure rock n roll!!!!!!!

  • No such thing as "too loud" with this song. I like to crank it up till the windows rattle.

  • Yeah!!

  • this one always gets your heart pumping huh? better than a defribilator!!!!!!

  • Excellent! I really miss this band and this music style. Little Ceasar rocked!

  • @rhendrix60 Guess what?! they are back!

along with WildSide they are gonna perform at the Key Club in Hollywood!

check the metalsludge site for more info

  • Mmmm. Ballsy is exactly right.

  • Didn't Ron Young also replace the singer of the Four Horsemen after his accident / coma?

  • Yes, the lead singer Frank Starr was hit by a drunk driver while on his motorcycle on Sunset Strip. He went into a coma with severe head injuries in Nov.1995. In 1996 the band went on tour with Ron Young as the replacement singer.Frank Starr passed away June 18,1999 and the band broke up.

  • That is so sad. R. Y. great singer though.

  • The original line-up was as in this video,Ron Young (vocals),Apache(lead),Louren Molinare(rhythm),Fidel Paniagua(bass),Tom Morris (drums):the backing vocals were provided by Cecile LaRochelle,Dee Daniels and Lovena Fox.This is off the original cassette tape from 1990.Just so everybody gets their due, these tracks were laid down by those members, not Earl Slick!

  • Ron Young had the greatest pipes ever!Loved these guys! Thanks!

  • Und wer hats verbockt???

    Scheiß Producer Bob Rock.!!!!!

  • Loved the entire vibe of this band as well. Earl Slicks guitar work was stellar. Nobody and I mean no-body has pulled off a version like this better than these guys did.

  • Yes it's good, I came in on the band pre-Earl when Apache )the man shown here at lead) was the guitarist.I really loved everything they did than!Fidel Paniagua on bass was my favorite....headbanging Chicano!

  • One of the best bands that got no respect! I loved this band so much!

  • i agree, Little Ceaser , and Vain were the bands that should have been massive

  • me too

  • what a great rock n roll band

  • Found some of these guys' stuff in a second hand music shop in York (England). Had to dig around a bit to find more. Remember, this is pre-internet / broadband. My other half is a big fan and I managed to get her the 12" vinyl pic disc of this track, as well as an original VHS promo video, sent to the music channels. These guys are fantastic and should be encouraged to ship their bums over to the UK ASAP!

  • The Jane's Addiction comment was meant to be a reply to lawlesstwo.

  • No, I was never crazy about Janes Addiciton. I wanna say it was at the Spectrum in Philly with KISS.

Slaughter was on the bill, too...I guess two outta three isn't bad.

  • i was a junior in high school when i was in this video! fidel, on bass is first my isol, second my cousin. as a teenager n sometimes still i lived vicariously thru his life. he is one of thee most talented n awesome people i know!!! thanx for living the dream fidel love you- your #1 fan (mandi)

  • *****SWEET*****

  • oh my god, is that the guy that gets knifed on the shoulder in T2?

  • This is the best version I have ever heard!!!

  • The version on their CD is better. No real difference other than a few seconds added to the beginning. It's great.

  • Love that wicked laugh at 2:46. I'll do a Favorites 3'fer

with this, The Four Horsemen "Rockin' Is Ma' Business" and

    Circus Of Power's "Motor."

  • this singer has the perfect rocker voice what ever happend to these guys saw them in vegas once opened for priest

  • I saw these guys twice in LA back in 91 and they kicked major ass ! The singer had a small role in Terminator 2 . I love 'em ! It sucks that they never made it to the big time .

  • sounds like bad company

  • thanks for the video

  • i love this song so much

  • Loren Dog I want to ride your pink Schwin!

  • ron young was in 1994 with Manic Eden with Adrian Vandenberg Tommy Aldridge and rudy sarzo

  • Incredible band

  • What happened to these guys! That singer rocks!

  • Unfortunately, they were a bit ahead of their time. They had a powerhouse promotion and management, but they were a little too "edgy" for the early 90's. Their self titled album managed to chart this song, and their cover of "I wish it would rain"; but neither got very far. They broke up shortly after releasing "Influence" in 92.

Damn shame, too. I caught them as the opener at a concert back in the day. I don't recall who the headliner was, but these guys were awesome.

  • Maybe Jane's Addiction?

  • Wow awesome band

  • CM2. Looking back at the smoke on the water there. Consorts & sweat. Something she won't never, ever forget.
