Rasulullah SAW prohibited Al-Barra'r.a(sahabah) when he changed the word "nabiyyika" to "rasulika" in a zikr..which word is better if u logically think?rasulika,rite?but Rasulullah prohibited him to change the word in the zikr taught to him -pls refer : (Sahih Bukhari with fathul Bari, beirut, 1:357, no. 247)
logically, it is just a zikr rite..better than nasyid..but,why he prohibited al-barra' to do so?dont use ur mind only..learn from dalil..ok?

What makes it LOOKS LIKE theres a connection between us, perhaps its bcos our (Ba'alawi) lineage meets up with the Shia's Imam starting from Sayyid Ja'far Assodiq & so on till Al-Husain. Thats abt it. & thats why they affiliate themselves with ahlulbayt.
But let me tell u somethin, NO Ahlulbayt from the early Sayyids were Shia except those who had been hit by the shia's fitnah & got caught into that sect FITNAH. Thanks God that Sayyid Ahmad almuhajir hijra to hadralmaut therefore escapes from that fitnah. Hence his descendence thru Alawi bini ubaidillah bin ahmad almuhajir descendence all excape from that fitnah & continue upholding the sunni way with pure spiritual teaching thru lineage chains all the till Rasulullah.
I wanna emphasise that ALL the Holy and Pious People of the all the variuos sufi sunni tariqah HAVE CONNECTIONS with the GREAT IMAMS including Sayyidina al-Imam Ja'far Sadiq, Imam Hasan, Imam Husain etc whom the Shia's also acknowledge as their Imams. A Lot of the great saints are also DESCENDANTS of these Imams, like Syaikh Abdul Qadir Jailani, the BaAlawi Saadah, Sayyid Ahmad bin Idris al-Maghribi. Read History!
