concert toms i love em as much as reso toms they have very open sound i use a 82 tama royal star in a kiss tribute band with concert toms to replicate that peter criss sound i wish i had a set of pearl fibre glass ones though good vid man rock on!!

So what's the point of having a double bass kit if you're just gonna' use one bass drum with a double pedal?

So how come there is no lugs for the reso head? Do you still get the sustain?

I'm not sure why there are no lugs on the bottom of the drums. the set is pretty old, at least from the 70's. Even without the bottom heads it is still really loud and sounds good, has good resonance, the video doesn't do it justice because it was taken on a camera.

@Zzyzx502 They were designed that way, they are called concert toms. Very common from the late 60's to the mid 80's.

@Zzyzx502 these type of toms are "Concert Toms" thats why no lugs....

@Rockinnsk8inallday This kit came with no bottom heads from the factory. It was the fiberglass thing. I have one these kits that somebody put bottom lugs on with rings and heads. It is still loud as hell with bottom heads. This kit here must sound enormous.
