The Metal Gear series is hard proof that giant robots (at least bipedal ones) will never be practical weapons of war unless they have alternate methods of propulsion. Take out the legs will make the pilot and machine sitting ducks.

It is an alternate sequel to Metal Gear 2 for MSX. Sort of a parallel universe of Metal Gear Solid for PS1. Everything that happens in this game in completely "non-cannon."

i never did finish the game, i got up to the second part of the metal gear boss, but then i lost interest, i kept dieing on it, and i always ran out of grenades, i had no idea there was an endless supply in the bottom left!

its to bad there was no sequel for ghost babel i would love to see a direct sequel to ghost babel for the DS as long as konami make the graphics in 2-D keep the same gameplay with some improvements like have a better radar system for example put bigger game content put way more vr training missions like maybe 300 vr training missions where ghost babel had 180 vr training missions maybe even have wifi multiplayer what do you guys think good idea or no

@Underload thats not the hardest mode thats easy mode 1. the missiles take 3/4 of your health off even with body armour on 2. theres little androides that fly around and attack you + what i've said is just on normal mode so hard would be much harder

MGS Ghost Babel was just a spin off game, its not part of the timeline of MGS, MGS2, MGS3, and so on

@Underload6 I think it is. At the end it says something about VR training sequence complete Raiden. I think this is just part of Raiden's Force XXI trials. So it's not really in the timeline, but it kind of is if that makes sense.

Wow, I've played this game many many times over and I have never realized that you can beat Gander without destroying the missile pods on the back.
