Best backhand because it's actually his forehand. Compare this to Venus. His stroke is more coninous and flowing. Hers is musclely and violent and of course not very consistent compared to Nadal's.

@pinoiibaboii His two-handed backhand grip is actually a western forehand grip on the left hand and a semi-western or full western grip on the right hand. That's why he gets such good topspin on both the forehand wing and the backhand wing.

It's probabaly the worst on the men's tour today.

It floats up too much. And mediocre players tear it up. So he ends up running around killing his knees trying to pick up the pieces.

i think roger looks better hitting his backhand but i think rafas is more efficient. I love one-handed backhands they look so fluid when done by someone good like Roger.

@SexyLeprechaun28 federer is more efficient , just look at the muscles rafa needs to force this type of shot. that does not mean it is less effective but the career of nadal will be shorter. notice how his left foot plants and his knee rotates until it locks. this is bad news for the patella tendon which is why he uses the braces under his knee joint . you can tell poor technique by how much stuff the player needs to wear to prevent injury. federer will be able to walk when he is 40.

How the hell does it sit up too much? He uses the topspin on the forehand to get the other players off the court, and then drives a winner with his backhand...

It is probably one of the top 3 best double backhands on tours (behind nalbandian and possible djokovic)
