@Heroduothecomedian When ditches go in between the rails is takes out the junk from it and shoots it to the side. Then another train will come through most likely HERZOG will come with the ballast spreading car to fill them in
@trainmasta227 Actually no we don't have anything follow us to fill it in. We go and dig a ditch along the right-of-way to allow the flow of water to leave the tracks that way when it rains the water won't settle inside the ballast and cause weak spots in the tracks. Once we dig a ditch, it stays that way with the exception of mother nature.
what the job of this kind of work train?
