The customer is handicapped, she can't lift her legs that much or bent down to take a bath, but now she can go in and take a shower with ease. That is the only reason you would cut a tub this way, there are other alternatives that use a door, you can fill the tub and take a bath but costs several thousands dollars.

yes. Just the video I was thinking there was gonna be a door there. There looks like theres no mount for a door
