Good for her, these are way better habits to have than most teens nowadays. Wish I decided to play guitar back when I was a kid instead of wasting all my time. I'm doing my best to catch up. One thing you might want to suggest to her, if she has a sibling with an Xbox she can get that Rocksmith game. I've only got about 6 years of playing down, but I'm still learning new things and new songs from it. Her playing is still pretty good though, but it helps with a lot of the small things.
