they do have freedoms, but not all the freedom that americans get. for example, youtube was blocked in China for a while. also, they do not have freedom of religion. So that's 2 things that americans have that chinese don't.

very true, in fact I agree with everything you guys have said. I meant Chinese people in general. No matter how ridiculous the Chinese government is, Chinese people will always have a sense of pride in their culture. SO having said that, I think its a bit condescending to include that line in the song.
