A response that is seldem raised, like in Australia the occupy Melbourne, Sydney etc; is how do these bums afford to spend their time in disruptive protest? Of course a large proponent of the rabble are on social security payments. Funny how they forget that the very establishment that feeds them is the one they are are protesting against. Hypocrites!

Yeah, it's ridiculous. The government won't let you buy a potato without breathing down your neck about it, but when people are obviously trespassing, all they do is wring their hands and wonder whether or not they have the legal right to use force.

If it's poverty that the occupiers are protesting, then they should occupy a desk. If it's unemployment that they're protesting then they should occupy Capitol Hill for passing minimum wage laws.

I think us freedom lovers should think about possibly getting rally permits to hold rallies at these locations. Wouldn't the police have to clear out these "public" parks so that freedom lovers could hold a rally? Maybe that would be a way to force the governments hand and uphold the rule of law and protection people's individual rights.
