  • dose your cell decrease output rapidly? all the ones i have made work really well at the start but within a minute of use the output decreases to almost nothing. any thoughts?

    nice cell by the way

  • Thank you for your Comments this is true but if you swap the + and -- every few minute so it won't oxide up so much

  • er, a diagram and measurements plan if any :s

  • I have read that you can increase the effeciency of electrolysis by keeping the volts at 3 volts and get the same result with the previous amerage. If this is true, then you can use the same power for two capacitor cells with double gas production. Can you check that out?

  • Thank you for your Comments this is true about the efficiency the best voltage is between 1.45 to 2 volts but the capacitor would have to be much lager or a smaller gap between the foil on the capacitor to give you the same gas production and lower voltage you would still need to over voltage the capacitor without increases the current to much this I have found give you more gas production

  • Do you intend to measure the production of gases. Personally I believe that you have done more than a Great job. Some other people on the same quest have produced very small dense bubbles like fog but the total gas production is very less. Congratulations.

  • Thank you for your Comments lots of work to do yet once I get the cell right

My end plan is to make a 7 cell / capacitor times 2 in total 14 cell's to fit in a 100mm by 400mm tube and to run on 12volts at 35 amps each cell will be running on 6 volts at 5 amps so 2 cells will be running on 12 volts at 5 amps times 7 and maybe a water cooler as well plus water filler and then measure the gas production

  • Excellent and impressive. Question, Is there any temperature rise during the experiment and secondly how many layers of foil and paper has given this result. Waht is the proper gap between each layer.

    Thanks

  • Thank you for your Comments the design is the same as any high capacitance capacitor

There are 2 layers of foil 3 meters by 120mm and 2 layers of paper 3.1 meters by 180mm the gap size is about 0.1mm there is a temperature rise the water is warm to touch when running for about 30 minutes

  • Hi Mrxcell42, would you advise what kind of paper you use? high cotton content paper? thks

  • Thank you for your Comments

I used Kitchen towel the real thin type that seem to work real well and Aluminium foil

  • thanks for response, the bubbles look very big. did you use any electrolyte? did the alum foil last long?

  • Thank you for your Comments

No electrolyte just rainwater the Alum foil did show signs of oxidizing but lots of hours left still and paper acts bit like a sponge that's why the big bubbles

  • How tight them roll together? thks

  • Thank you for your Comments

Not to tight I used a pen to roll in on

There are 2 layers of Cooking Aluminium foil 3 meters by 120mm and 2 layers of paper 3.1 meters by 180mm the gap size is about 0.1mm

  • I gave you 5***** please do the same on my "hydrogen cold fusion free plasma electrolysis Reactor" thanx HWOOD

  • Thank you for your Comments the design is the same as any high capacitance capacitor

My design is the same but with rainwater and paper and Aluminium foil

If you give me time I try and make a new video showing how it's done / Don't get much time at this end :-( for this work

  • Thats cool. Can you make a video on how it is done?

  • HHO Gas With Just 5 Volts and 5 Amps capacitor with rainwater and paper and Aluminium foil
