Heart determination to finish the race I say, he kept pushing no matter how much heart broken he lost that day. As he limped around the track, his father came waving to the medic to please get back..the son was in tears and in so much pain, the world will never forget the father and son 92 Olympic games. Never quit no matter what you do, this is an example of determination to follow through. They are winners in my book, I'm proud to say, It just a reminder, to always finish & never quit noway!

Why is he a legend? Because he got injured? So what? This show-boater should have stepped off the track when he pulled his hamstring!

sbtbfanatic calm down man... he got to the olympics...that is a great accomplishment and he didnt just give up like almost everyone else would've done.

@sbtbfanatic i agree in a way with you but thats in a way i really dont get why he is a legend. hamstring broke. carried on race. end. but however he wanted to win so he deserves a good pat on the back for that.
