@MrCrgl 30fps or 60i i think. look at amazon.com for video game screen recorders. Those people from videogame reviews use to record the image of the video game to the computer.
like an older movie. I am thinking of getting an old S-VHS camera and using my DOF with it. It might look something like this. But is there an S-VHS or Hi8 cam that uses progressive scanning?
I thought that it was excellent but the only thing that would of helped was if the autofucus didn't do its thing even though the changes were very slight and if the auto exposure also didn't do its thing but with certian types of Hi-8 cameras if I recall its difficult to nearly impossible to change that so well done any way.
I'm no film expert but I watch movies like clockwork and I this is one of the best "Film Look" presentations that I've found on here.. And I've watched quite a few. Considering the equipment you were using, I think you did a bang up job. I like it.
I quite like this. I'm trying to get a film look but can't seem to manage. I have a Sony Digital Handycam. Should be able to manage it with After Effects but can't seem to do it. i only just learnt how to create an 'Old Film Look'.
whatsup guys all of us do mistakes its not a problem , gbmov u r not vitorio storano u still have too much to do , ILM is right the problem with the white balance ..
I do not think its WB what keeps changing, maybe the brightness. Anyway, I made this video with Hi 8 camera. It is suposed you can only get crap like this. I did m best.
can't you see it? zoom in to get depth of field and make only close-up shots to get a lot of detail into the picture, thus making it look sharper. + fitting light and framing.
Would like to see more. Isnt Hi-8 analog equipment ? If so, how did you transfer to digital ?
