Just saw your message regariding the pick up. he does use one. It stitcks to the outside of his mando, then he has a small amp that goes with it. I bought the same one, works great.

Saw these guys in concert a few months ago. Didnt expect anything much, but was blown completely away! All of them were incredible musicians and very entertaining live.

Nickel Creek is perfect! I never liked country or bluegrass, but they inspire me to try some new styles. They're folky yet modern, without trying to sound like pop stars.

In Rome sounded pretty much on.. not sharp at all. :/
And if he's talking about how she goes up in notes, I think that was planned. We all know how innovative Chris is and how he'll tweek their songs up a bit for variation. :]
