It's actually spelled, "Kafkaesque". Franz Kafka was a German writer in the very early 20th century, I do believe. The term, "Kafkaesque", is sort of obscure, but it basically means a surreal sort of disorientation. It's reference to Kafka's writing, mainly the stuff like "The Metamorphosis" and what have you. All I remember is some dude waking up and being a giant rat or something.
