Hi Lollealias, great video, it is no wonder the Canadian badlands are home to Dinosaur fossils, it looks like a landscape from a prehistoric age! You should consider submitting this, and any other relevant videos, to the Canada’s Got Treasures collection by joining our YouTube group (/group/TresorTreasure). It would be made available on our channel and website. Help celebrate Canadian diversity!
this is a video that is very touching, it makes me appreciate life more. picturing dinosaurs on that land makes me wish i could see it so bad! lol great video thanks
i really enjoy the badlands...gods greatest creation. pure art of landscape at its finest. i have many videos on my file dedicated to them. they are my life. i own an area of them called hays badlands. i have videos of it on my file.
i love the badlands. i dedicated my account to them and put on videos of slideshows and others for badlands. they are the most amazing places on earth!
It all the in the history of the badlands. The valley was created by the movement of glaciers, and therefore most of the land was carved down to the different layers of rock and sediments from millions of years ago. The grassy parts would be from the earlier layers.
Well done video and the music is so appropriate...reverential as all of Enya's work is. I just adore her.
Your badlands look similar to ours in the U.S. with the notable difference being that it appears less desertlike there in Alberta with more greenery and water nearby. I hope to get there one day. Thanks!
I know the song translates to something else but its as if the song is a peaceful send-off (perfect like a viking sendoff in funerals). I also think thats what its lyrics trying to get across. But that just me, so GREAT SHOT WITH THIS.
I think the song choice was perfect too because to me it feels like the song is about the end of one impressive journey. A journey taken by these once great and magnificent creatures to this there "final resting place."
specteculair landcsape...

Anyone know how can i get to Dinosaur Provincial Park from calgary without having to pay for a tour bus service ? (i don't drive)
I'd like an excursion by myself for 3 or 4 days to pitch a tent and enjoy the scenery...a perfect escape!
I just know there are daily Greyhound trips to nearby Brooks.
...maybe a shuttle service from Brooks to DPP ?
