Isn't doom metal supposed to be played in extremely low tunings(such as drop G)? This sounds like it was played in standard, just like every other 80's rock band... The tempo may match the genre, and perhaps even the lyrics, but that's about it. Sounds too much like Black Sabbath(yes I know they started doom metal, but not good doom metal).

@Kultivater not really in tunings that low (drop g? seriously?) but really slow and meloncholic atmosphere. that is doom metal. i play doom metal riffs in standard e. but they sound so much deeper due to my eq setup. (Treble about 7 or 8, Middle about 2, Bass about 9, guitar tone about 3) thats all i got as far as settings. i got a REALLY simple setup.
