@ingravegreen Oh thats weird... i've just said that about the engine myself just before i read this... it's far too loud for a confined London street... but then as i have also said before... just the same as any other bus... noise wise at the back... needs to be a lot quieter... thats how you suffer from noise fatigue... thats why you end up with a headache walking around London... that and squealing taxi brakes!

@4crevis I think that this is just a mock-up to what the new Routemaster will be like, the engine used is from an old bus, there is no Hybrid engine in this bus. My only concern is how the hell ill this bus going to turn at Oxford Circus, its far too long.

not all bus routes in london will need the boris master can u imagine these in coulsdon , edmonton , hounslow, redhill, sutton, pottersbar, greenford , watford ,harrow , romford, dnt think so , other makes n models will also be needed

@HSTCalvin agreed, it a horrible looking bus and is a giant greenhouse on wheels in my view, let hope they go the same way as the bendy buses and get sent to the Scrap Heap within a decade and replaced by true london buses like the ADL Enviro 400 from Alexander DEnnis or the B9TL from Volvo
