@SwissGuitarStarter Its hard not to want to do it when you have that engine growling and that smile on your face... if you ride you'll understand what i mean
@SwissGuitarStarter If I do a wheelie on something that weighs 130kg, it hardly puts anyone else in danger. Add to that, anyone with sense in their heads don't do it in traffic unless they have experience, the odds of me hurting anyone but myself are close to nothing.
@KohenCoots try wheelieing without a spocket.....its hard.....but a stock sprocket will do just fine....i wheelie my fzr600 in second gear ....stock sprockets
you are beginner but good, atention on the back break to safe and you have to put the bike more vertical but dont be afreid the back break is there trie first to now better the bike and is center of gravity and you will be wheelie in no time. stay good bye
hey im not a pro but i think your using the rpm on two wheelies most then on one.. you can stay up longer if you clutch up on like 3krmps i ride a cbr 1000rr and i use one finger its better because you get more grip when the bike pops up..
great vid man I have the same bike it's a 2005 f4i. I just love the bike. need to try and do some wheelie's on it. well I do some some times when I get on it hard put it's only like a inch or two. have not got the clutch up yet.
Never take comments from someone that doesn't know what they are doing. I. E. these people. The only way to learn is to do it, and be ready to mess your bike up some.
hey man were you doing the role on wheelies in first the whole time? Im also glad your using my exact bike to so now I know how its supposed to sound and react now!
@rynoride yeah man, that's insane!! My 954 had a ton, plus bad grips, sucked just to even ride. I tightened up the throttle a ton and put new grips on, Talkin bout no more cramping!! But yeah, I could tell it was windy, plus a HUGE ass bridge! LoL, it looks bad ass!! Where the Hell is the place anyways!?? But hey, either way man, b careful. I randomly ran across this video. But I lay low on stunting now days. 5 yrs ago, I had a near death-Shoulda died accident. Just b careful man
no shit. dude.....u have WAAAYYYYY the fuck goo muuch wrist movement!!!! i honestly believe, and no offense, but practice more. and yeah stunting on camera sucks, kinda a No-No....something stupid always happens lol. just b careful, and keep practicing. tighten ur wrist up, dont make such quick and rapid movements!! GODSPEED!
@trimmer02 ha ha. Thanks man. I shouldnt have shot the vid that day....extremely windy. Wasnt stable at all. These were in 1st so the tjrottle response is insane. Plus i have a shit ton of slack in the throttle. They are betterbnow.....ill be posting more/better vids soon.
On a power wheelie do you sit as far back on the seat as possible and do you keep accelerating as you pull up on the front? Is this all done in 1st gear?
@WildBill1006 all in 1st. I do sit back on the seat. Keep accelerating to pull the front up higher. Just start little. The more you practice, the more you will see what and what not to do.
@64rlwri I've wheelied ever toy I own. I.E. - dirt bikes, quads, 3 wheelers, sand rails..... street bikes to me are different than anything I have wheelied. Not used to such i HUGE power band. To answer your question......since spring.
@rynoride Although i believe i am finding it difficult because of this damn restriction law in the UK, my bike is restricted to 33bhp, so no 97bhp for me, but in time, every time i pull from a red light XD
Awesome stuff man, I have been trying to slowly teach myself the wheelie principles and think I am getting there. I am getting the same kinda height in second gear not consistently though however. Excuse the noob question but I really do not fully understand the gearing deal. When you say -1 +4 does that mean 14T 46T? I currently am riding an CBR600RR to learn the wheelies so I would be curious to see how much of a difference in feel the gearing would make. Appreciate your help man Ride safe :)
love it dude! i struggled to wheelie my gixer, i think at the time i was just too worried about wrecking my £6,000 motorcycle THEN i got the Husky! You know all this tugging on bars and popping clutch? NOT needed, haha! so much freakin fun man... oh that was on knobblies too! cant wait to get a supermoto one day :D
@DarkFlight600 yezzer! Crack the throttle off then crack it on while yanking for Power Wheelies. 12's can get sketchy, they scare me too. Every once in a while I will clutch up in 1st going too fast, which results in over reving and a little more clutch. Brings the bike up with the quickness 15-30 is the fastest for me to pop 1st gear. Power on the other hand is right at 7k - 7.5K (37ish mph) for me.
@rynoride ferrari's ain't got no work for us bro, lol! .....+4 is crazy man! I think +2 is the perfect balance and keep in mind gas mileage suffers, with +4 you'll probably be gas'n up ever 70 miles! Just food for thought... ;)
thank you for your vid !! i just made a vid and posted it ! you have helped alot !
