  • "please wait while we direct your call to the administration desk, as you call is important to us"

  • "Hey ah guys could you take off your shoes before you come in!"

  • at first it sounded bad. then it got really good

  • Love the way the tempo picks up the 2nd time around!

  • come on you butch of slow pokes i can even play this faster get into groove >:| and

get the right tunes for once.

i bet some other bands are better.

  • I like how you guys speed it up at the end like the original version great job

  • My middle school jazz band is better than you guys.

  • *¬*³³³³³³³³

  • this sounds like something i can listen to when i am in a cafe sipping some espresso

  • This one fits casino nigths zone very well congrats!

  • hehehe love the quick bass solo at 0:43

  • epic

  • ein bisschen mehr power, die notenständen weg und dann kann man sich das auch ansehen und anhören... >>> i don't like Paper-MIDI-Monkeys

  • now this song sounds good like this. great job

  • too many instruments however i like the style and since i can't play anything then.. ya'll did a nice job especially when you played it fast *thumbs up!*

  • It's awesome that you guys would pick up this song.

I'm sure you will all agree with me that with a little practice, this could be totally awesome. I look forward to version 2.

  • It was really slow at the begining, but after 1:19 it got really good.

    Nice job! o/

  • cool! i love casino night :)

  • Not bad guys. You could go faaaaaaar with this talent. But uh.... 'when in doubt.. pull out'. 8D

  • considering you guys are a jazz group, you guys should be all over this song! You need to get in the Groove, the saxes need sharper articulation and more air.

The trumpet really need more air to support the notes he is playing. get it down slow first before you guys do the faster tempo.

This song was MADE for jazz.

  • it was better than the hill top zone.....

  • Speed it up, tune to each other, rehearse more, axe your trumpetist. And then record.

  • European version.

  • Is it possible to send me the trumpet part for this song?

I really want to play this song!!!!!

  • Jesus, this is like a crazy Tim Burtonish gothic comedy rendition.

Is... that what you were going for? :S

  • Sega would be proud =P

  • i was just thinking this would be a great idea, looks like i got beat to it! nice one though!

  • im trying to convince my jazz band teacher to do this.

  • @pianosketcher

Same with mine. We suck worse than these guys, but hey, it would be fun!

btw: lol @ year later reply.

  • it was great but seemed to be a bit flat but still good

  • Gerrald

  • need a cello player, pianist, a trumpet player, and a ...gonna butcher the spelling on this one, basooon. for this stage i mean.

  • If it possible play the haunted house ( both version) from sonic heroes. good tuning and great job

  • You guys can play instruments...but the sound from the trumpet is just plain disastrous. I'm afraid you need new lungs a lot of the brass and woodwind just sounds weak. Definitely I'm gonna put this down as something you threw together one night after smoking a bit and just thinking out loud and for sure it's at least a fun attempt. Just needs practice to be taken seriously

  • I performed this at my senior concert, I was one of 2 guys on a marimba, and a bass and drum set.

Only thing I would give as advice is don't be afraid on pop attacks.

Very nice doing the double time change.

  • i agree

  • Interesting! I like it. You for got the guitar/bass part at the end tho. You know, when its all silent except for the one noise? heheh.

  • Good job on the trumpet. Now I`m gonna see if my band can learn this.

  • you guys need a keyboardist and need to make a recording of metropolis zone

  • This is from SOnic, right? Very nice sound!!! I want to hear more from you! :D

  • Sonic2, actually.

  • hehe..

  • pretty cool the 1st time nice and steady and then the 2nd time you made sound so upbeat and jazzy like pretty cool

  • you guys are great for doing this, sounds much more authentic hearing it with real instruments, it's still has the jazzy vegas vibe.

  • I think it sounds more jazzy than the original.

  • Hearing this music again gives me goose bumps. Thank you so much for covering these old Sonic songs! :D

  • Holy Shit!! This is the LIVE theme to Casino Night - this is how it ACTUALLY sounds!!!

  • The Bass Player KICKS FUCKING ASS!

  • LOVE IT!!!!!!!! this is one of my fave themes... awesome! (searches for hilltop zone ....) thats another of my faves..

  • Nice work!

  • When you sped the tempo up you coulda used a bunch of people to start clapping!

  • Awesome... I can totally hear that being played at the end of Saturday Night Live!!!

  • I disagree with the one below me. I thought the blast from the trumpet in the begining called for attention. Wonderfully done. But yes switch it up with the sax.

Man that pick up in tempo at the end. Pure magic.

  • Trumpet don't play so loud in the beginning if you're playing chords. You're just backing up the band...

    >.>... try throwing the melody around too... maybe have the saxes do the chords (since there's more than one, it'd make it even better), have trumpet on melody, and have the trombone play a counterpoint OR have it play a harmony under the melody.

  • Yowza, that ending was smokin'! Nice work guys!

  • FASTER FASTER FASTER!!! hahaha lool verygood

  • I could've sworn that I hear a clarinet in this video! maybe it was the sax? anyway, Great!

  • This is the type of song you have a solo section in when you arrange it. Kind of like MrTrent's Jazz Band Arrangement of Casino Night.

  • you know waht will hit the spot?

    a piano. :D

  • Coool! But I have a question: why does NOONE try Launch Base Zone from Sonic 3?

  • OK, I've only heard a few, but this so far is the best! It sounds like a near dead ringer to the electronic version on the game. Nice pitch, tone, everything! Awesome work, guys!

  • Jazzy! LOVE IT

  • i agree. its a fast swing. classic!

  • tempo could stand to be a bit faster..

  • listen to it all the way thru then they pick it up lol

  • nice

  • maybe there should be less plp in band...

  • Beautiful!

  • I like this a lot, I would recommend a mute to the trumpet [for sound pertaining to this song: not volume]

  • Sounds like you're in a rotary club, but it sounds awesome.

  • Good job, I have never played Trumpet before in my life but I have heard that there are certain mouthpieces that can give a better sound, better fit for Jazz. Perhaps you should check for a different mouth piece if you have not already invested in one. You guys played it well, this is one of my favorites from Sonic 2.

  • Those are called mutes. And if you want to sound like the Cosby Opening Sequence, you'll need a harmen mute.

  • actually what CFrostwolf said is correct. the mute makes a completely different sound that is meant to add color to the piece of music. what he's talking about is a more subtle difference in that a mouthpiece will do better for jazz because it produces a brighter tone that easily "cuts" as opposed to the dark rich sound so needed in classical setting

  • Hahahaha perfect theme for "jazz" :D

  • Really good, but sounds like you're at an old man's rotary club.

  • Because it sounds so classy and classic! Guess that's the point. Besides, what do you have against old men and Rotary Club? hahahahaha

  • yo dude look at the trumpet player he needs to take a break he looks like he's about to faint

  • I wish you guys would do the Bonus Zone music. It was the best in the game. I have always wanted to hear it live.

  • well it'could use some cleaning. but man trumpet player guy, try the pencil excersize man it sounds like you have a kinda weak embrochure..... but it sounds good

  • While I wholly agree that I have a very weak embrochure, I still refuse to do the pencil exercise on principle. I'm sticking to my guns on long tones and lip flexibilities.

  • wow

    nicely played

  • Nicely played lads.

I dare you to try Oil Ocean Zone :P

  • lol. that would be a challenge

  • awesome, dudes!!!

    that´s incredible!!!!!

  • Could use some practice, but that aside, you guys have fullfilled one of my lifetime's ambitions: seeing Casino Night played by a full jazz band :).

I think I preferred it the second time round however, when you did it faster.

    But still, awesomeness.
