the 2010 crossfire 800 is like 490 pounds and has 164 hp and 141 track they hual assbut great sled man i just got a 09 crossfire 600 and that thing is fast!
I acually dont know. i added the can after the pipe and y pipe. i havnt tried it with the stop pipes, so i dont know if it makes a different sound. i assume it changes it a little bit but prob not much. maybe a bit louder if anything
Not sure about the 1000's but my F7 got noticably louder by adding just a D&D Monster single onto my Rumble Pack. Also gave it 10times better throttle response. Hope this helps.
i got it up to 120mph down a hardpacked road and was still pulling strong. i could have gone faster if i held it longer but i didn't want to loose control haha.
well the stock inch and a quarter track aint the greatest for deeper snow. but on harded backed, its a rocket. and i just got some clutching done so it should be even better this year for acceleration.
look; your sled is awesome...i have 2 (010 800h.o and 09 xfire R 1000), we OWN a cat dealership and ive had EVERYONE since 1996, & raced ALL the fastest production shit with ALL the go-fast parts you could ever afford. your sled WILL NOT GO 120mph on the gun, i would bet u every penny u had. a y-pipe, clutch, jaws fart can, whatever......NO WAY. i have a 1200 BIG BORE in a 09 xfire 1000R and another $5K on top of that motor, and im doin 128.8mph @ 2000ft on a PERFECT ICE track. have a nice day.
your wrong. 2007 crosffire 1000's did 119 mph on a hard packed lake before they had to do an ecu reflash. read the forrums. me and my dad tested them the year we got 2 of them. we redid the clutching and did the single pipe to gain about 20 horse last year, and on a hard packed road we hit 120 but let off cause it was kinda icy. so it could have went faster. but i dont recall how far of a distance it took to reach that speed. im not trying to start an arguement, but i know my sled.
yes you can get a rumble pack, i have seen it online. and as for the twins. they have them for the m1000 but its for high elevation, so im not sure if it would work on a crossfire. slp makes a set of twins though for the cf1000.
look,....again i LOVE your machine, what length is that track?.ive been on jaws dyno @ $150per/hr in ottawa. just believe me when i say ur machine dyno'd & tuned before & after WILL NOT produce nowhere near 190hp with those parts. your 'dream-meter' for a speedo is off about 13mph+ if your reading 120mph AND THEN YOU LET OFF cause it was icy?? my other TURBO MCXpress apex ($8000kit) @ 10lbs of boost is 260HP ON THE DYNO with a speed track, chizzled & clutched will only do 131.0 on the gun....
its a 136. but no i have dyno sheets from when i took it in. my dads is 197 at the crank and mine is only 190 at the crank because of the can. we also have an intake mod so that helped a tad. and okay fair enough, i just never knew they were 13 mph off? even on harded packed? i guess thats where i went wrong haha. sorry dude. :P
no problem bud, i love your sled, on gps/radar youll see around 105-114mph MAYBE with PERFECT dyno tuned parts, the 136' is much slower that the stock 128' 1000R stock, your track balloons something severe....keep up the good work, and who cares how fast you go, as long as you LOVE your sled and ride it to the fullest...... be safe...,the dream meter means nothing..............take care, be safe. tops is around 109mph im guessing.................ON GPS/RADAR
haha yes i deff love my sled. the torque of the 1000 is what i cant get enough of. i had an o7 800 when they only had 142hp but it wasnt enough so i traded it in. but man i can only imagine what that turbo apex is liek though? must be quite the ride?
it feels and sound like a jet engine, the sled takes off so fast at 80mph you'll fall off the back if your not holding on with all your might. if you like your 1000Xfire you should try the 010 800HO, C&A-dyno'd 163.7HP STOCK and about 65lbs lighter than your 1000 with the 141" track it seriously impressive...NEVER lost once on 800ft drags, grass or ice....MAJOR torque. my 1200 big bore beats that t-apex at 1500ft by 2 sleds, but going across the whole lake the apex NEVER stops, its nuts.
haha man o man. and yaa money is an issue, so i will prob keep my sled tell its paid for so ill just enjoy what i have. is there anywhere in alberta or british columbia though that a person could test drive all the sleds? or even try out a turbo'd sled?
not sure, call you dealer, im sure they have demo days for CAT there like we do here......as far as the turbo apex they dont make it....the machine new here is like $18K PLUS the $9000 turbo + a 12hr install at $113per/hr....YIKES...be safe take care and ride it like you stole it buddy!!!!

ARCTICCATJOHNDEERE1 1 year ago
@ARCTICCATJOHNDEERE1 are rumble packs louder than jaws cans? ive always prefered the sound of a rumble pack but never knew where to get one
dan3991 1 year ago
slow
sodeypop321 2 years ago
yaa it looks slow, but i hit almost 100. the camera could only pick up 30 frames per second. the sound is quite a bit off too
dan3991 2 years ago
do u kno if it makes a big difference in sound wit hthe y pipe and the pipe beign SLP?

these machines are duds...my stock 03 F7 accelerates way faster than this...unless u were just letting the track spin off the start?
