This song was beautiful and awesome! I didn't really notice any pitch problems and I am a stickler for that kind of thing. It would be awesome if you could write the music and sing the lyrics to Rue's Lullaby in Hunger Games trilogy. It is an awesome book series and I always thought that the song in the books should have more of your music sensibilities. Just a dream of mine. You can consider it or not. :-)

Concerning the reverb, you have to realize that she's not in a professional studio there. It sounds like a pretty good quality for a home production from a young girl with little experience. The reverb sounds bad only when she's talking but it adds to that lonely bluesy quality while she's singing.

I've got some friends coming to help me who, if you listen to bluegrass at all, you'll be familiar with, so I'm really excited! Thank you so much for all the comments :). For the most part, most everyone has been encouraging and have used tact when critiquing, so I can't complain. You're right; some people do prefer to cut others down and that's usually a reflection of their own self esteem, so I just keep going about my day.  God has blessed me with a lot of people who enjoy my music and I know it's impossible to win everybody over. I try to learn from the constructive criticism and focus on the support I'm given.

Yes I love the contrast, beautifully done. I only meant the peak was very high because my speakers were going to blow, so when I turned down the song I couldn't here the soft parts.
