  • this is the most beautiful song ive ever heard

  • Wow....the talent your family has!!! Stacy please...keep writing and singing. I've read comments nice folks have written about hearing this singer or that singer in your music...I hear Stacy Grubb, who has obviously been influenced by different artists, as all people who sing are. I look forward to finding a studio quality album, not only from you but also South 52...would love to have a chance to see you guys live...

  • Great voice! I have listened to a few of your song and in my opinion I would stick with the bluegrass sound! I love this song and the way you sing it! You sounded more comfortable with the bluegrass twang.

  • WOW!! You don't here songs like this every day. Makes me wont to go to church. Oh and THANK YOU for singing it.

  • GOD bless ! You have a GOD given talent . Please pray for me .

  • This song really moved me. Blessings!

  • hey stacy it emily , i just heard this song and i love it . i was wondering if it was ok if i sang it at my church one sunday ? love your songs and your voice keep on singing :)

  • @jmrector76 Hey Emily, feel free to sing it. If you can, capture it on video and share it :).

  • This song was beautiful and awesome! I didn't really notice any pitch problems and I am a stickler for that kind of thing. It would be awesome if you could write the music and sing the lyrics to Rue's Lullaby in Hunger Games trilogy. It is an awesome book series and I always thought that the song in the books should have more of your music sensibilities. Just a dream of mine. You can consider it or not. :-)

  • Well i heard Alison Crouse in your voice on the last song now i hear a little celine dion, Wow you have talent!!!1

  • I want to see you do Jacob' Dream , and Oh Alanta. what a Bluegrass Voice

  • Make it this far??, and thinking there's any possibility of talking to yourself?? Oh how wrongfully mistaken you are,, dear God-gifted WV girl!! lol

I am SO glad you posted this song/video. It is so captivating and amazing. It is definitely one of my favorites!

  • your great

  • Have you anything on CD?

  • im so glad the world is starting know your music...it will bring so much power and light into the world! ill buy every album!

  • such a beautiful voice stacy, sing from the heart God Bless you stacy and your family ( keep up that beautiful singing )

  • not to be a hater, but maybe there's just a tiny bit too much of that reverb or whatever you call it.. chorus / echo .. ?

  • Concerning the reverb, you have to realize that she's not in a professional studio there. It sounds like a pretty good quality for a home production from a young girl with little experience. The reverb sounds bad only when she's talking but it adds to that lonely bluesy quality while she's singing.

  • hey stacy, this is awesome, one of a kind voice!

  • Wow Stacy, another grabber. You are becoming my absolute favorite singer/songwriter girl! :-)

  • Amazing.

  • Move over Alison Kraus.(;U GO GIRL;) You know how I feel about your singing.

  • Alison WHO ?!

  • What a God given voice...

  • Wow!! That was GREAT!! Thanx!! David

  • Stacy,

you have a captivating voice. I love your style. Do you have an album out?

    Amy

  • Amy, thank you so much. As a matter of fact, I'm going to Nashville in January to make my first studio album. I've got some friends coming to help me who, if you listen to bluegrass at all, you'll be familiar with, so I'm really excited! I don't know when to expect a finished product, but sometime in the coming months :).

  • Sorry my friend just sent you a comment on your video. People who read this, clover11rigby is a boy, not amy. Amy's just my friend.

  • Daggon, girl. That was freakin' awesome! I really don't know what else to say except that just absolutely blew my mind.. I would like to ask for your permission to allow me to sing that song in my church during our revival. If that song don't put conviction on 'em, I really don't know what would..

  • I think you are much too hard on yourself. I love your sound and wouldn't want you to change. Unfortunately I've noticed that more negative is posted than possitive on most sites and that is a shame. We should hold each other up instead of cut each others throats. God Bless you and keep it up!

  • Thank you so much for all the comments :). For the most part, most everyone has been encouraging and have used tact when critiquing, so I can't complain. You're right; some people do prefer to cut others down and that's usually a reflection of their own self esteem, so I just keep going about my day. God has blessed me with a lot of people who enjoy my music and I know it's impossible to win everybody over. I try to learn from the constructive criticism and focus on the support I'm given.

  • Very nice!

  • You have a beautiful voice. Its great you use your talent for the Lord!!

  • Thank you so much for listening :).

  • Beautiful, simple yet full of passion, flair and style. Blues and folk mixed.

  • Thank you very much!

  • Stacy! It's Paige. I found you on here by searching for WVVA and watching your dad's video of Muddy Waters.

My daughter and I watched and she "sang" with you the whole time, she even mimicked some the words.

We're gonna keep watchin and will most definately share!

  • Hi Paige :). Sounds like you've got a music lover on your hands! Thanks for listening and sharing!

  • sarah mclaughlin or anna nalick come to mind when i hear your voice.. its some sort of combination of the both. i love this song, you definitely are talented. thank you for sharing this beautiful song with us. :)

  • Hi, Ashley! Great to see you over here. Thanks for checking out my stuff and for getting me back into SingSnap. I dropped off when they changed stuff around. I guess I can still do my AKUS stuff for free, though lol.

  • Thank you for listening!

  • Amazing voice young lady. One of the best voices on Youtube in my humble opinion. Very pretty song as well. Use your music for good things and remember the little people.LOL.

  • Thank you so much for listening :).

  • Hell yes! These are the voices i want to run into on the Tube!!!! Great work, 5 stars!! A fav and a sub!!

  • Wow what a voice, really beautiful!

    Sarah x

  • Thank you so much!

  • You have a wonderfully pure voice. Awesome

  • Thank you!

  • top !!!

  • Thank you :)

  • This must be a powerful song when you do it acapella, but I liked the guitar strum too. Saw you on jugnutgut's top ten. I think he's unearthed another gem.

  • Thank you so much. I've sung it acapella in church and I think it stunned a few haha. I'm not the type of singer who wants her audience to feel good when they listen haha.

  • Poignant song. Beautiful. What kind of mic are you using?

  • Thank you very much for listening. I use a Shure SM58 vocal microphone. I also use an Alesis mixer with a USB port to run straight through my computer.

  • You have an Extraordinary Voice......Thanks for sharing your talent...

    Bitch Gibson

  • Thank you so much for your kind words.

  • Make it this far? Are you kidding, I want more! You are fantastic!

  • Thanks for sticking it out haha

  • wow such a lovely and powerful voice should be onthe big stage, and accepting Grammies. Thank you for posting your lovely music for us to enjoy.

    Peace,

    Allen

  • HERE IS A FUTURE STAR !!!!

    What and Wonderful Voice.

    DDR

  • Such a song! Sell it on a CD-then tell me when it comes out!

It's a trick of the ear, so I almost hear "Wayfaring Stranger" in the tune, but your words are so much more!

  • Yes, I hear "Wayfaring Stranger," as well, now that you mention it. Thanks for lilstening!

  • I give you ten stars on this one for sure.

    WRITE MORE.

    Brother Don

  • Thanks, Don!

  • Stacy, you don't have to apologize or feel any remorse for posting this video - I'm telling you straight forward, you have one of the most beautiful voices I have heard in a long long time. Continue to pursue and take it higher and higher with each song you perform and you'll be on top. Thanks for giving my song a listen.

  • Thank you so much for that encouragement :). We're usually our own worst critics, but that (along with the support of others telling us to keep at it!) also serves to give us the desire to never stop trying to be better!

  • You have one of the most beautiful voices I've heard on You Tube. Keep on playing that guitar, learning and writing more. I'd love to hear you sing one of my originals on You Tube titled "Dancing with Prophets". Thanks for sharing! Mark

  • Thank you so much for listening and your comment :). I listened to "Dancing With Prophets" and it's a gorgeous tune.

  • very good song. nice singing.

  • Yes I love the contrast, beautifully done. I only meant the peak was very high because my speakers were going to blow, so when I turned down the song I couldn't here the soft parts.

This may be because the quality of my equipment at my end is not so good. Again I love the song and your the voice. Please forgive me If I have said too much about the peak to peak thing. Blessings to you!

  • No apologies necessary :). I know that my setup leaves a lot to be desired. I'd say one of the biggest problems is just turning my head from the mic to look at my fingers as I play haha. But I welcome comments and suggestions and appreciate your input! :)

  • Your voice attract me! You have a strong voice! I can feel your soul there! Thanks very much!

  • Thank YOU very much!

  • Great voice. Is it a sad song about missing salvation? I'm glad we have hope in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ....You might want to try some compression on your vocals, so they don't go from quiet to such a peak?

Keep on singing and writing, you have a gift!

  • Actually, I love the contrast in her voice. It makes you pay attention.

    Great job, Stacy :)

  • Thanks Blum and Jen :). Yes, the song is written from the perspective of a young person who is killed and basically speaking from Hell to urge others not to postpone their Salvation for a later day. My recording setup is just me, my mic, and a mixer that runs through my computer, so nothing fancy. Thanks both of y'all for listening and for the comments!

  • Another great job, Stacy.

  • As always, thanks for listening :). Love ya!

  • Awesome! I play in a band with a Grubb.

  • Cool :)! Grubb is actually my married name. Thanks for listening.

  • You look so bright and beautiful in this video and your voice is wonderful....wow...I am so Jealous...lol

  • Thanks so much, Carmella. For the record, don't waste your time being jealous of me lol. If you knew me like I know me, you'd be jealous of you...or something like that haha.

  • WOW! That's deep,,,, or profound,,,, or something but I like it! Beautiful song and performance!

  • Yeah, I get deep every once in a while :). THanks for listening, Barry!

  • Beautifully done, Stacy. :) -jess

  • Thanks, jess!

  • A great touching song. And no, your not just talking to yourself. I watched all of it. :)

  • haha Glad to know I'm not alone :). Thanks!
