Rarely, his natural weight is around 160. No fighter can fight successfully and drop 30+ plus pounds to fight at 145. Not saying your wrong, but i know a lot of fighters too and he rarely, sees the 170 mark. He trains everday around 150 - 155, and makes weight to 145.

Faber is to small for 155, because he walks around at 155 anyways, and he is only like 5'5. Guys like tyson, guillard, and bj walk around at 180. Mike Brown was much bigger and stronger than faber and he was a small lightweight when he was in the ufc.

If you ask a question like: Will you fight someone or ...are you scared? of course Faber will say no and he probably isn't scared. He definately would be making a big mistake going to fight UFC at lightweight though. Any of the top 10-15 guys at lightweight would beat him right now, including Tyson Griffin.

I completely disagree with you! Urijah is faster, more energetic, holds TONS more stamina and well-rounded conditioning than BJ Penn. Also in my opinion BJ provided his most lackluster win ever against Kenny Florian, and in my opinion Urijah could beat Kenny Florian as well at 155lb. We saw how BJ struggled against a wrestler like GSP. Urijah is all that and more, because when he is wrestling you on the mat, he throws elbows and all these other signature techniques of his.

Yes GSP is good at wrestling, and look what he did to BJ, case closed! ... BJ literally went to his corner and said I quit after 4 rounds of getting his ass handed to him by GSP. Urijah fought with a BROKEN lead hand for 5 rounds and survived only by slapping Mike Browns head and throwing elbows and short kicks. And yes Clay Guida is good, but he cannot beat Urijah Faber. Guida is fast, but Faber is quick and there is a big difference. Faber has more stamina, better conditioning, and more heart.

Brown dropped him because Faber got way too confident and loved his own legend too much. It takes shots like that to wake people up. Now are you going to tell me that BJ's win over Florian was a comeback fighter of the year story?? All-American wrestlers topple the best jiu-jitsu guys all the time in this sport. The winning point in this fight is that Urijah has arguably the best conditioning in MMA, BJ arguably as the worst. Faber is smart and will fight in and out like the 1st Pulver fight.

Jens Pulver is one of those underrated champions in UFC history. Give him the credit he deserves. He did beat BJ in their first fight. The only case you can make about someone having equal conditioning to Faber is Clay Guida. An All-american wrestler can topply a black belt jiu jitsu fighter any day! Dont forget how Matt Hughes finished BJ in their second fight, and how he beat THE jiu-jitsu guy Royce Gracie by dominating via top ground game.

Faber is a great fighter. Sure, Mike Brown has his number but, Faber can move up to 155 and into the UFC. I would pay to watch Faber/Griffin II. I would also give Faber more than a slim chance of avenging that L, too. I think Faber gives Penn all he can handle. Penn is overrated. Penn keeps fighting guys twice his size so when he losses he can just blame it on the size difference. B.J. be a real champ and defend against legit 155 contenders! Faber will bounce back, guarenteed!

Hes right though, UFC is focused on Heavyweight/Light heavyweight PPVs
They have some of the best welterweights too. But for lower weight classes and more exciting fights WEC is the way to go.
