this song reminds me of spending time with family on cold early morning with a wood fire heating the all the houses in the town.. and having a big dinner spread enjoying with family. must of done that when this song was playing back when i was a kid or something. or maybe im retarded or something. awsome song!!
If more of us would live our lives this way with our families, this country would be a much better place than it is. People spend too much time doing their own things now and being entertained with gadgets than spending time with their families and friends.
This makes me think of my mom, my sister and days gone by here in Alabama. I love this song. I miss my mom so much. this march will make 10 years since my mom passed on and seventeen years since my sister passed on!
This song makes me think of a beautiful sunny Sunday where I live (in Kentucky) from a Sunny Sunday Morning going to Church. To the Sunset on a Sunday Night, knowing you will sleep to a clear night.
I love this song. It makes me think of my family. Sunday was always truly sacred for us. My Grandparents had 10 children & even after they married and had families of their own, we all came "home" on Sunday to have dinner with my Granny & Poppy. I miss doing that and I really miss them. I'm usually crying when the song gets to the part of hearing the whipperwill because Poppy and me would sit out on the porch in the evening and listen to them. :)
