Fable 1 disappointment? Well Fable: the Lost Chapters I most say is the greatest RPG for its time. I've played through many times. I don't know what Molyneux was thinking when he made fable 2 and 3... I don't think fable 4 will save the series. Fable: the Journey will make it go dead.

I know this is a hard question to answer, but should I get fable 3? Fable 1 is legendary to me, absolutely one of my favourite. I also thoroughly enjoyed fable 2, but I've heard the third is very dissapointing, and I've read some worrying things. I really want to enjoy this game, but I'm not sure it will be worth it. Can anyone with some level of intelligence here, that have actually played the game, recomend it and give reasoning?

@ThEP1r4tE Well if you enjoyed fable one i would get this game. I got the Collectors condition on day one... I'm not going to lie I was disappointed and passed it quickly but i recently just started it again and i love it its great. I think i over hyped Fable 3 for my self but now I am playing at a slower pace doing the side missions and building up my property empire. So if you like the other Fables you should get this one. Plus its not too expensive now. :)

If your one of the people that were not happy with fable 2 or 3 or just fable altogether I recommend you try Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning it came out very recently and deserves a play from all action RPG fans.

it's good. don't listen to other people. just buy it and see for yourself. I enjoyed it. The fable games are my favourites. I'm not really a big gamer. But I like fable 3. a lot of things about it could have been better. But, you have to take it as it is.

The only bad thing about is, that it is very similar to fable 2. it's easy to beat. and becomes boring in a matter of weeks.it's like reading a book. you play it once or twice.

I played it twice. once. by fucking it up, the second time. I bought the cheapest properties as soon as I made enough money until I owned, nearly every house, pub or shop in Albion. so that I made enough money. for you know what,

But I played fable 2, loads of times. I was fascinated by the sandbox play. kids. marriage, buying and selling

the novelty of all that wore a little thin, after fable 2. and fable 3. doesn't improve much on the open world aspect.

@MsStarcrystal the Hero of Albion was a man.... So they show a man. Fable threw in the sex choosing options later- but the emphasis of the game was always set on playing as him and choosing his fate. What's a better story? A prince betrayed by his brother and must do battle for the thrown of King or a Princess who-... that's right- woman in the 16th century had no lives, had no rights and were too busy being kidnapped or raped in the realistic sense- you're a few centuries off there Fem Shep.

Everyone who says this is bad is either stupid or thinks if games are not like COD, they are bad. This game is such an intelligent game and is definitely the best fable game so far. The story is great and in my opinion fable 1 is terrible, there is nothing to it. The idea of this game is that you do the divisions a you would in real life, not just what's going to get the most money.

Fable 3 is more like Barbie with magic powers or if chose dark paths...gay evil clown ...with magic powers

i's a shame of a game compared to most RPGs (even most low rated ones)
