Most people I hear, when they talk about redpointing, mean climbing the route on lead, clipping every bolt as you go, with no falls or rests on the rope or draws. They'll call it a pink point if they've gone through and placed all the draws and then lead just clipping the rope. Otherwise no falls, no rests is simply a send. Unless it's a send on the first try, a flash, or a first try without reading any beta or without watching anyone climb it, an onsight.
