uhm,, Tammin is Australian yes. she was on the australian show home & away.. and btw, TAMMIN sings this song so much better. i rekon tammin's version is better. vanessa has just completely copied the style of this song, and hasnt made it her own. if you look at famous covers of famous songs, like KOHD, youll find that although nearly every artist in the industry has covered that song, GNR's version gained popularity, because it was different to bob dylan's version, and it was something people hadn't heard before.

I've been listening to Tammin's version for years and I love it, this is the first time i've heard Vanessa's cover, and I can't say i'm impressed. She didn't kill the song, but she didn't make it any better. If you're going to sing someone else's song, you should turn it into your own, don't just repeat the same thing. With Tammin you can feel the emotion, with Vanessa its like a karaoke singstar type version. Its Tammin's song, she wrote it, she sings it like she wrote it, so she wins.
