  • I saw these guys years ago when they came to play in the cellars of Wesley Owen in Manchester - I'd heard of them in 2000 when this song was on the Fresh taster albumn (the one with the lemon on the cover) and it summed up so much what I was going through at the time, it is almost my testimony song for that period!

  • I miss Larue !GodBless you both and maybe one day you get together again and grace us with your beautiful Passion!!

  • I miss these guys!

  • Wonderful ~ Song ! t <:

  • hes kinda cute

  • What a cool song. With so much talent they could easily promote promiscuity and sexual deviancy which is so much eaten up by the masses. These young people actually spoke of their beliefs and something more important than themselves. Outside of them. Christian or not. Somebody living with any kind of moral standard should be able to appreciate a humans choice to deny the vile's of conformity. In this case, what inside us makes us hunger for a higher purpose. A higher power?

  • Natalie wears many different outfits in this vid and she looks gorgeous in all of them.............but the one I like best is the red (velvet?) dress @ :54.

  • lol, this takes me back to when I was in high school. Good song, thanks for posting! :)

  • Holy cow! Didn't know this was on YouTube! I'm the drummer in the video, but not on the audio track. That was a fun day. My roommate Mason is one of the electric guitarists in the back. I think I'm visible for all of 2 seconds!

  • they people who made this song dont want you to pay attention to them in the song....they want you to pay attention to the message....Love God :)

  • wow i think i was 10 when this song came out O.O

  • I had their CD back when I was in Grade 12. I saw them at YC. Now, I believe that all the world needs is love.

  • i hadnt listened to larue in forever but one day i was wondering wat the point of life was and why do we live just to end up dying. i turned my ipod on shuffle and this was the first song that came up. it helped me get through the day. i love this song. thank you so much for posting this.

  • I freakin' love this song.

  • Having met her in person, i can say she really is beautiful. They were great together... But, life goes on! :)

  • I just saw Phillip Larue 2 nights ago in concert with Bebo Norman and I spoke to him afterwards and he mentioned that they broke up because of family commitments. He is putting out a new album in April, (Solo) I got his EP at the concert, it is awesome. Lets continue to support him.

  • Wow! tks. for update

  • I miss there music so much. All of their music had a wonderful melody! The messages behind their music is amazing! God Bless them both.

  • If you are looking for copies of this album, I have three still. I own a small electronics store in MD. Just let me know ;-).

  • i would love this album?

  • omgosh! i live in maryland and i want a copy! where in Maryland are u at?

  • hmm though they were sister and brothe O.o, anyway, iv been trying to get this Album for ages now and cant seems to find it, anyone know a good site i could buy it from or something? thank you

  • oh my i thought they were brother and sister too! for like the longest time.

  • They are both brother and sister. I think they are both married, just not to each other of course.

  • They actually are brother and sister! I used to have a video that proved it!

  • actually, they are both married now, but i think philip larue still puts out music maybe...

  • Good stuff! They have amazing talent. Do they still tour?

  • idk good question, cuz i would def. go to see them!

  • No, they don't. But Phillip is starting a solo career, with his first album to be released in the spring.

  • i have loved this band for so many years

  • I'm praying for you. Lord God, give this person the relief they need to understand your love, and the truth of this song.

  • dude if you dont anything nice to say then keep your comments to yourself

  • Oh man...I understand now why I liked them so much as a teen (though I still do)...their lyrics are so genuine. That's why a lot of Christian music gets on my nerves...so much of it is so pretentious. Not LaRue...

  • great song!

  • This song bring me back to days when I was young.

I still have this video on a VHS from a Youth ministry.

I've always though they were a bit underrated. They have very unique and wonderful talent.

  • we love you to, so dose jesus :)

  • this is my song

  • shes married to a youth pastor,

    and currently has 2 children,

    one boy and one girl.

her brother phil is married too.

    keeping a low profile.

  • We forgive you...putz.

  • I love this song. Was going through my CD's and decided to put on Larue. Then I thought hey they might be on You Tube. Loved it.

  • wow this song is old

i used to watch this on this movie, i cant remember what its called

awesome song...what ever happened to them??

  • Was it Left Behind by chance? Their song, "Fly" was set as Cloe's Theme on the left behind soundtrack (first film).

  • just bought their album yesterday

  • aaww i LOVE Laru~~! thanks so much for the post!!

  • What happend Larue????

    What are they doing now?

I love them, their songs have such good meaning.

  • I Googled LaRue, but I can't find anything recent about what they're doing now. I know Phillip and Natalie were 17 and 15 when they did this song, and young people in bands eventually go to college, start a career, etc. (like Cadet, who are from my lifelong church Springfield Faith Center), but I've found nothing about their post-music life. Are they now just common people out of the spotlight, keeping low profiles?
