I first saw this at the National Film Theatre during the neighbouring Hayward Gallery's "Dada and Surrealism Reviewed" exhibition in early 1978. The whole experience was immensely influential on my subsequent way of thinking (and behaving). I also saw Murnau's "Nosferatu" ay the same time and bought an 8mm print of it. A golden period! Seeing this now is very evocative. Is there a DVD release?
