  • jap motherfuckers. i love that line

  • At 8:51 it's the badass colonel from Black Hawk down.

  • At 8:53 it's the badass colonel from Black Hawk down.

  • You know, for me it wasn't how they fought in combat. They were ferocious. But, the way they treated the defeated, the prisoners who could not defend themselves, leaves me underwhelmed. Same with the Nazi's. When a man's done, lock him up and give him some bread. He's done. To beat the defenseless speaks of your character. Loudly.......

  • earl is a badass, tries to take down jap planes with a shotty

  • lmao 6:49 haha the camera guy got killed XP what a dumbass. what's more important? your life or catching this on film? he didnt even have a gun

  • @VladFerdinand1 what are you 6?

  • Comment removed

  • @VladFerdinand1 just makin a point

  • Sad that America provoked Japan into attacking them just to find a way to get into the war for profit :(

  • @FootballFan428 It's sad that the US education system produces someone like you =(

  • @ExploitedYouth87 ... you just added a point to how bad this country is :)

  • Those japs need target practice, what a waste of bullets

  • this is the worst movie I have ever seen...

I nearly puked because of the extreme patriotism.

the americans are heroes for bombing a city and killing thousands of human beings.

the Japanese on the other hand are monsters for attacking a military target.

it doesn't make any sense at all.

  • @ROWsixtenSWE

Pearl Harbor was just a military base. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were cities. Who is bigger monster?

    americans (vermin), like always!

  • @ZLIgari The U.S. did not launch nuclear attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki for nonsense.

That 2 cities is a major military installations of the Japanese forces.

  • @Djygeneral

    Yes, but still..its overkill!

Its like a killing 2 ant colonies with heavy artillery.

  • @ZLIgari And it saved several million lives by sacrificing 300,000 in the initial blasts. The projected casualties for an Allied invasion of Japan was 1 million Allied casualties and 6 million Japanese casualties. Given how the Japanese were training their civilian population, it could well have been much higher and ended Japan entirely.

  • @RedneckRapture AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. japan was about to surrender. the greatest war criminal in modern history Mr Curtis Emerson LeMay was already sending japan to the stone age as he proudly said, with his campaign of bombing japanese cities with incediary bombs. the greatest war crime in WW2 after the holocaust and the Atom bombs was Tokyos bombing by the b29s. look it up. Japan would surrender with out the Abombs. Winners make the history books .

  • i think i know why they cut these out..this is a more obviouss one...too much massacring of people..probably too guresome and might bring back too many memories for the old folk which they dont want to bring back

  • they attacked us cuz we cut off there oil

what would you do if someone took away the gas to run your cars

  • @movieman175

We cut off their oil since they were invading everyone and massacring people, so this was their fault.

  • @Usul573 yes true but i mean its not like they were just attacking us for being the good old u.s of a there was more to it then that

  • This was interesting, I never knew there was a version this uncut. There were some very quick shots of sailors being strafed that I had never seen before and there weren't any body parts in the OR. If there is any director known for his restraint and elegance it's Michael Bay.

  • @hanscombe72 yeah. Too bad the movie got negative reviews because of the romance that was put in this film. If I was Bay, I would've just put in important stuff to make the film look accurate and it's really the whole thing (by that I mean, what really happened on that day). The romance scenes don't interest me. I only watched this because of the attack scenes. But overall, it's a good movie (:

  • @hanscombe72 Restraint and elegance? I counted SO MANY factual and historical errors in this gigantic piece of distorted Hollywood crap it made me want to puke. Baldwin's Doolittle is so putrid it makes me want to gag. And Affleck and Hartnett's characters are so ridiculous it's a disgrace to the actual pilots who did manage to get to their P-40's and fight back that day. This movie ought to be rated BS because it's so full of it!

  • it's hard to type sarcasm.

  • @dougalmac54 Holy shit! A Hollywood movie is historically inaccurate??? Man, and I always learned ALL my history from movies....

  • @dougalmac54 And the sound effects of modern racing planes dubbed over MERLINS ???? was the worst piece of said BS.

  • @hanscombe72 restraint and elegance? LOL! This movie is absolute horse manure from start to finish. Despite the glaring historical inaccuracies and ridiculous acting, the movie is absorbed w/ the idiot love triangle between the moronic Beckinsale and the king of crap acting Affleck and his goofy sidekick Hartnett. This movie fails so badly it's beyond belief. Bay glosses over some of the best stories to come out of the real attack on PH. This movie made me want to puke.

  • 7:09 they sunk the hangar with a torpedo? :\

  • 6:49....what military unit would be soooo stupid as to run across an open space as a group when enemy fighters are strafing? Only in a movie with a poor director who disregarded the advice of their historical or military consultants. Only an idiot is going to try to shoot down a zero with a Thompson at over 1000 yards....

What a shame this budget was wasted on a poor representation. It would have taken maybe another 15 seconds of film to make it right. Cut out several insanely lame scenes

  • @mjmikelson there isnt a need to hate on the film. You're looking wayyyyy too deep into this

  • @mjmikelson dude they were panicking. None of them had probably ever been in combat, and it's a very different experience then what is taught to you in basic.

  • The japanese kill a lot of civilians and defenseless sailors in the water in this movie, among other atrocities. I KNOW for a fact they were barbarians, but can someone tell me to what extent this is hollywood?

  • @wasteofspace1234

I dont see any part of this as exaggerated. But hey, that's war for you

  • @wasteofspace1234

but then again, I wasnt there so I wouldnt know

  • I love how he grabs a M1918 Trench Gun and fires on a Plane.

  • @Valexor21 I just laughed at that moment. You can't shoot a plane 1500 feet in the air with a short ranged shotgun. Thats just stupid! xD

  • Not the guy with the camera

  • The man who orchestrated the attack on Pearl Harbor didn't want it to happen. None of the Japanese did. They wanted to avoid war with us as much as we did them, but they knew our navy was strong enough to stop the progress of their island conquest in the pacific and afte we cut their oil supplies we kinda left them no choice. Sure there may have been better routes but in the end they were doing what they felt they had to. They knew war was inevitable so why not try to cripple their enemy first?

  • @TheSithSpartan None of the Japanese did? The Japanese leader was a power hungry mongrel, he sought power, he sought world domination, did you know what the Japanese armies did to the natives in these Island conquests? They raped like animals, killed children, burned down entire villages, AND THE JAPANESE EMPIRE KNEW THAT! they knew what their armies were doing to the natives and they let it be. That why a lot of people hated the Japanese. To say that none of them wanted war is complete madness.

  • @DJBuckCallYo do you know what good ol colonists did to the native americans? lol go learn a book fuckoff

  • Comment removed

  • @Trollingwithmyhomies And what does the English colonists have to do with the Japanese? You're changing the topic because you're to stupid to even ANALYZE things for once. Go take your medicine you retard.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSithSpartan that is the most retared thing i hav ever herd

  • 1:49 brutal kills

  • P40 = x6 .50cal machinguns, more armor, better design

Zero = x2 .30 cal machingunes, x2 nose mounted 20mm cannons, lightweight, high manurvability

  • @PeacefulParadox

Zero= x2 7.7 Machineguns in the nose and 2 20mm on the wings...

  • DID HE JUST WAVE AT THE CAMERA AT 7:14???

  • @legohero451 no he's just holding up his hand to shield his face.

  • i still get chills every time i see President Roosevelt drop his papers

  • tom sizemore lol JAP MOTHER FUCKERS lol

  • in the shot of 4:35 earl has his cap on but in the next shot he doesn't wear his cap just after he said one need fuel

  • @LeviFilmWorks yeah i noticed that too, but the next time we see him is when he notices the bombers, and his hat is still off. From that point on he leaves it off.

  • 1:00: "We're all going down with the ship"

     USS Oklahoma

  • Only a badass could use a shotgun on planes

  • @turk1991turkboi Are you fucking retarded? We beat the shit out of them every time we fought them in a fair fight.

  • @turk1991turkboi they only won that battle because it was a sneak attack. We out fought them on land, sea and air the rest of the war. So you are obviously a dumb fuck. Did your mother have any children that lived shitbag?

  • Great filming and cinematography, however this film was over-exhadurated.

  • @PaintballRush222 Were you there?

  • @EpicTrollBeastMan No; however I have many many photos taken during the attack.

  • @PaintballRush222 Just shut the fuck up. Don't come on here acting like you have a clue. You weren't there so you "don't" know shit. This film moved survivors to tears when it first came out, obviously it's pretty damn close if it hit that close to home. Saying anything about war is over-"exaggerate" (learn to spell you little punk) is not your place. So you can take those pictures you don't have and stick em' up your ass, think before you post next time dickweed.

  • @EpicTrollBeastMan Yeah your cool. Really cool, you assfuck. All I'm saying is the movie has been hollywood-ified. Which happens all the time. So, pull the patriotic dick out of your ass, and run home and eat a cookie and confess that you are a fudgepacker.

  • @PaintballRush222 You talk of patriotism as if it's a bad thing. And I got a better idea you sideways liberal son of a bitch, how about you go back to watching MSNBC with the rest of your commie friends and when Keith Olbermann is over blow your own fucking brains out. You know nothing of the subject and it's not your place to say a damn thing about it. Just to humor me though, please tell me in your "not so humble" opinion what is exaggerated/Hollywood about the scenes?

  • @EpicTrollBeastMan I was talking SIMPLE things, not the entire goddamn attack.

The Mitsubishi A6M zero fighters (of the time, but im sure you already KNEW that) carried a 265 pound bomb. In the film, these bombs destroyed multiple buildings. One of these bombs would not do such damage.

It's little things like that, things that HOLLYWOOD would change that were over-exaggerative. I do not watch MSNBC nor do I care for keith olbermann

  • @EpicTrollBeastMan I love how the liberals like to critosize everything about this country. I would love to send them to africa for just 1 week. Have you noticed its the forigners who say the best things about our country its because they have lived in the shit countries and appreaciate what we have to offer. Its always a 22 year old kid who was born in the city who complains. He had everyything silver spoon fed to him to its easy to find the negatives. This country transformmed europe into

  • @EpicTrollBeastMan This country transformed europe into a free society. Prior to that europe was in shambles after the war. They used our style goverment. Of course some of them improved it but we were the first to have such freedoms. Of course we havent bettered our selves like we used to but compared to what the world was before the USA Im very happy to say I am an american. I love AMERICAN with all my heart. I would die on a moments notice just to save her an ounce of shame.

  • @EpicTrollBeastMan The usa would back any of her allies at a moments notice. If britain was stealing land we would back her just because we love her so and knew there was a good reoson for it. Please understand the americans are not what you see in movies. We are not all arogant ignorant fool. If we were how did we grow and create what we have. And you liberals who hate it here so Much. Go to canada you want everyhting for free and that still isnt good enought you dont know what hard work is,

  • @meronmotors Amen brother. One day we will wrestle our country from the hands of those socialist bureaucrats and secular progressives that are self hating jackasses who forgot what being American entails. We need a third political party that is as well funded as the Dems and GOP to make them wise up. It's good to see there are other patriots out there that feel the same way I do.

  • @meronmotors The whole reason for american independance was...

  • Oh yeah, and I'm not a fucking liberal.

  • @meronmotors Bull and shit good sir

  • @PaintballRush222 In the usa I always get asked why I have an american flag they call me a red neck. (I live in california my parents are british and ecudorian no way red neck) The usa is the only country where they laugh at our men in uniform. I am so proud to be american. They always try and pull up some of our dark areas in the past. There is dark in every countries history. We have overcome it and that is what makes us so great. We have learned from our mistakes. I would only be american

  • @meronmotors Yeah well i was just talking about the damned cinematics within the movie.

  • Jap mother fuckers EPIC!!!!!!

  • If we had left battle-ship row with its ships intact and with armor, the outcome would have been very different. But because we disarmed the ships for modifications, striped their anti aircraft armaments off and got them ready (2 Tennessee, 2 Pennsylvania, 3 Colorado, 1 Idaho and 2 Nevada Class BBs) for re modifications, they will virtually defenseless. Amazingly, USS Virginia, a Colorado Class, took 7 torpedoes along with 2 bomb hits, and nearly capsized. That was a lot of damage for 1 ship.

  • Youtube? Fuck you, you shit-qual site. I can't even view this video. It freezes at the hospital scene and stays there after I refresh the page. You fucking morons.

  • There's no need to hate a country based on events that happened 60 years ago, that's just stupid.

  • @CynicalVision cynical, if our soldiers were to come back alive, i bet they would find u and kill u for what u said.

  • @CynicalVision Agreed. And, I mean, imagine what the Middle East thought of us when we attacked suddenly (before 9-11). think about it in another perspective.

  • @turk1991turkboi I hate the Japs. They think too much of themselves.

  • @panniman Fuck YOU Im japanese and i take the term "JAP" very offensive, SHUT UP ITS WAR If you were in Japan or Germany you would be thinking that "I hate Americans" or something, ur just sayin that because you are American. And You bombed Hiroshima AND Nagasaki so STFU

  • @sushiboy805 Ignore Panniman. He's a nut. Japan, today, is a proud ally of the United States. Pearl Harbor was 60yrs ago, and if it weren't for Japan, we wouldn't have stopped the Nazis. I truly love Japan and its amazing culture.

  • @Tyco200 Ummmm the japs fought on the same side as the Nazis soooo how did the japs help us stop them???

  • @sushiboy805 So you don't like being called a jap but your name is sushiboy??? So much for stereotypes huh? And yes we did bomb your ass so what, you did shit in your prison camps that would of made Heinrich Himmler cringe. And they did it to POW's that's bullshit. The japs are a sneaky bunch of SOBs, we should have hung all of your leaders after the war like we did the Nazi's you all deserved it.

  • @EpicTrollBeastMan And the Americans were totally justifiable during their countless wars too. OK there champ.

  • @PaintballRush222 Great point asshole.

  • @panniman For one, you sound like a racist bastard. Secondly, no they aren't. What happened 60yrs ago was very horrible indeed, but that doesn't mean their whole population wanted it. Japan will always be our greatest ally. Since the 50s, till forever.

  • @turk1991turkboi the most successful?? battle of midway-America kick their ass!!!

  • The medical scene... oh my god... hard to watch...

  • now i just cant believe that i wanted to join the war when i was little...

  • there are 1187 souls in the Arizona at rest at the bottom of battleship row and they were talking about bringing it up because its leaking oil. i really believe they shouldn't touch that ship it is their final resting place.

  • @WENEEDBACKUPNOW yep they say there gonna leave it there

  • The worst part of the movie is the drowning. There silence was avenged auguest 6th 45. IT wasnt ok but it has kept the peace for the most part for 65 years

  • @meronmotors It was ok, they deserved it.

  • 8:38 - spawnkill

  • Qq y was the arizona so important?

  • @MrScotini What do You mean "Why was Arizona so important"? It was just as important as the other battleships. Now it's "important", because it's a military grave (many man still resting in the sunken wreck) and a memorial place.

  • Comment removed

  • I finally stopped watching this as I couldn't take it anymore, I literally almost vomited. The special effects were great and I know that it is just a movie, but this really happened and it shows just how incredibly ugly war is and how brutal mankind is. War is terrible.

  • @doggsector Saving Private Ryan is way more realistic and brutal. its a shame because this movie has a great depiction of the attack of pearl harbor. But they never should've put more emphasis on the love story. What was Michael bay thinking, i will never know.

  • Thank you for posting this. I was in the military and am a World War II historian, and I am surprised how this has affected me today. I am angry that the Japs did what they did and yes I used the term "Japs," and anyone has a problem with that then that is just too damn bad. They bombed us for absolutely no damn reason at all killing innocent men women and children. This is no different than 9-11 and it still pisses me off. Thank you.

  • @doggsector They did not just wake up one day and decide to bomb us. They felt they had no choice. In fact many times they tried to settle our differences peaceably but Secretary of State Hull refused to allow the Japanese ambassadors to see the president. or even listen to the Japanese. I am surprised as a "World War II Historian" that you do not know the reasons why they attacked us. By the way, I also did my time so you can not complain I am not a patriot.

  • @bbailey1982 Lets not turn this into a "I was in the military" dick measuring contest. If you're gonna claim it spout it. MOS? Pay grade? Unit?

  • the gore in this uncut version is ridiculous, even when Roosevelt crumples up that piece of paper does it sound to explicit..

  • Why do so many "Kates" (torpedo planes) fly around over land installations, still wearing their torpedoes, instead of immediately attacking their designated ships at arrival over Pearl Harbor? Quite unrealistic...

  • @YDDES there were more then one wave and groups of attacks, it showed how organized they were.

  • It's too bad that this movie was horribly panned. I like this movie. Anyone can say what they want against this movie, but I'm not changing my opinion about it. It may not be a top ranking war film, but it's still a good movie in my book.

  • What? Oh.. She's down she's broke she's shit..~ I got 4 left 1 good to go 2 need armor 1 needs fuel!

  • @momokia89 This guy always plays some tough-as-nails sergeant...and he rocks at it.

  • @momokia89 that guy is the MAN...i loved him in saving private ryan too lol

  • @momokia89 he said 2 need ammo

  • @momokia89 2 need ammo*

  • @momokia89 ammo

  • @momokia89 2 need ammo

  • war is sweet to people who have never tasted it.

  • @BreathInSpaceFilmz Who said that again?

  • 1:50 - 1:55 completely sad .......... why how could the japs be so discusting that they would fire on unarmed men trying to save others from a death that is so horible

  • @booger965 Its called war. You are taking out trained soldiers of the enemy. Its now just the japanese that committed strafing runs on unarmed soldiers. Many allied planes committed strafing runs on ground personel of enemy airfields. And not all of those men were armed. The objective in Pearl Harbour was to strike a blow to the military of the USA by disabling an anchored fleet and air units. Killing these men, though sad to us, was simply an aid to disable the USAs ability to wage war.

  • @spanish111japan Part 2 of 2

Japan was an Imperialistic Tyranny, and Empires generally piss the rest of the world off. Japan woke the sleeping giant, the Industrial might of the USA. That was a pretty big mistake. The United States had a vested interest in keeping Japan contained. Any expansionist country is considered a threat to those around it. As for 61 Civilian deaths? Hah! What about the Philippines? Get your facts straight.

  • @spanish111japan

their Imperialistic interests, and so they attempted to take them out of the picture in one fatal attack, forcing the USA to appeal for peace. They failed, so read some more documents before you come onto youtube citing sources incorrectly.

  • @manbearpig7777

I read a lot of documents. You're totally wrong.

  • @spanish111japan W.A.D. (What a dumbass)

  • @EpicTrollBeastMan What did the troll say?

    W.A.D.

    :D

  • @spanish111japan

    1/2

The McCollum memo was a plan of action against Imperial Japan if the US was brought into the war. It was not a plan of attack in any way shape or form, it was a war plan. The US has war plans against almost every nation of the world at any given time, should war arise. He who does not plan, plans to fail. And the US almost did fail in the Pacific, it was extremely touch and go. The Japanese struck the first blow, and struck hard. The United States posed a potential threat to

  • @manbearpig7777

Brought into a war, USA? Ha ha ha. USA had nothing to do in WWII if they didn't mess with Japan, doing sanctions and mebargo to them.

Tell me why should you go into a war in wich you aren't involved?

Too much patriotism and leak of intelligence i see.

  • @spanish111japan well written....to many dumb ass s out there believe any shit in films.....made in usa

  • i feel sad for the burned guys and the guys that was stuck at the bottom of the ship. drowned. if i was at there position i will be shittin my pants and cry alot.

  • this HD is great. is this the director's cut?

  • "These Jap mother fuckers"

Shot gun, bam bam bam bam bam bam bambam bam bam

He sargent there gonna come u got some more then a shot gun?

    Yea inside that emmo locker!

    I like that part lol@_@

  • thats lots of ammo for a shotgun o.o

  • The war is something very ugly. And it must be shown as reality as it could be shown. I think so. R.I.P to all people who died in wars.

  • "JAP MOTHERFUCKERS" *unloads shotgun"

    lol what a badass

  • look at the good side they maybe had a 7 killing spree in 1941 but america had a 25 killing spree in 1945 even twice that was tactical nuke incoming

  • I only fear that we have awaken a sleeping giant- Adm Yatamoto after Pearl harbor.

  • these people died for nothing... it's so sad that we cant have peace , I creid at this movie... :'(

  • @uct45nem I cried because it was a bad movie and I'd paid money to see it.

  • lol we bad. the japanese bombed the hell out pearl harbour. then the mr.prez told the japanese to sign a peace treaty and the japanese said" we not siging no pay pa hawy" then 3 weeks later we droped not one but two bombs on japan.

  • its war! and we did it to save our lives

  • "Jap mothafukas." BANG!

  • It makes me cry thinking about how americans can be proud of killing civilians with just atomic bombs.1 it's a civilian massacre 2 if you are so brave kill with guns, face to face, not dropping bombs. seriously, being proud of a massacre of innocent people...

  • @spanish111japan America isn't the only one to blame for that kind of shit, buddy boy. No one's innocent in war.

  • @spanish111japan we did kill with guns, tanks, bombs, grenades, flamethrowers anything and everything wecould get our hands on, the Japs were determined to go down fighting so to save american lives we had to nuke them into submission, it actually cut down alot of would be deaths in the long run (that is if we had to invade the home islands). If the Japanese were so brave why didn't they issue a declaration of war instead of a sneak attack? not very honorable in my opinion...so spare me.

  • @JackieFan123

Sigh. The brave was to do the kamikaze attacks, they had balls to die for their countrie.

Btw, check the document McCollum memo, written by someone importan, i forgot who, to the leader of the USA, giving reasons to provoke japan to go into war with them. The nuclear bomb was dropped to show the URSS the american power.

  • @spanish111japan You call Americans KILLERS? The Japanese military during the 1930s and 1940s is often compared to the military of Nazi Germany. Japan invaded China then rape, murder civilians, and buried POWs alive.

Japan occupied some Chinese cities and started mass killings, human experimentation & biological warfare, used chemical weapons, tortured Prisoners of War, & looted.

It's a shame. We have our reasons. You FUCK with the US, then we'll get you back. Bastards.

  • @HaloReachSpot

I never called them 'killer's, get your facts right.

Sadly, no one knows about the civilian murders of america, since they did it and they don't want to tell it.

You're acting like USA was the victim, stop there.

Read what i said and answer.

    Who provocated japan?

You had no reasons, you provocate, you get fucked.

Whores, you provocate and then act as a victim.

TALK TO ME AGAIN WHEN YOU READED THE MCCOLLUM MEMO BASTARD.

  • @spanish111japan But WHO's the one that started the attack?

  • @SuperWaveShredder

Japan attacked. Usa was shouting 'BOMB ME!'

  • ROFL I love the Earl "Jap mother fuckers"

  • It's very sad how helpless human beings actually are...

  • If Ben Affleck was "killed" in a training accident in the first 5 minutes of the film, the movie would have been a critical and commercial success.

  • what Asphyxiaction said about the two atomic bombs that were dropped, and the 70,000 people that died, there were three times people were killed on such a large scale, the battle of pearl harbour, the Doolittle raids and the holocaust, all of those things were completely unnecessary and caused loads of suffering

  • Hiroshima and nagasucky is my favorite part of WW2

  • you fucking inhuman bastard... i would like to see new york bombed with civilian deads.

  • @spanish111japan That already happened, dumbass. Way to keep with the times.

  • amazing film

  • I am Japanese. It is shameful.

    What is shameful?

It has hung in Roosevelt's strategy.

It was not possible to start to say to the people who had hoped for the isolationism though Roosevelt wanted to enter the great war.

Then, it is a translation that presses the unreasonable demand against Japan conspiring with Cordell Hull.

Oh, this is not recorded in the United States textbook.

    However, it is true.

  • @mizututi Then maybe if Japan didn't invade Manchuria, China. The US would be in isolationism while WWII went on, they didn't want to get involved in foreign affairs, (sigh) but instead, they did after Pearl Harbor came after the US closed off the supplies Japan needed. It wouldn't surprise me if all that you said wasn't in the US textbook, governments would do that.

  • @mizututi

Our textbooks? That's a good one. You bastards denied for the longest time this ever happened.

  • Why did they cut Earl saying "jap mother fuckers"

Some pc turd must have been worried about offending the japs while they where blowing the shit out of us.

  • This is that Roosevelt hoped.

He was pleased to hear the Pearl Harbor attacked. (truth)
