I find it hilarious that people are just NOW having a problem with the writing just when we get better actors and characers with actual charater, but were just dandy with putrid shit like Sonic 06 and Shadow.

I don't have a problem with the writing in Colors and Generations. Yeah, some of the jokes in Colors is either a hit or miss but the writing itself is fine and I've felt that Sonic has more attitude and personality in Colors then he did in almost every games after SA2. After SA2 Sonic is either annoying or horribly bland.

@sonicfan1984 Yeah...guess this video would inevitably encourage mini-rants like this. Colors' writing was disgusting to me mainly due to the jokes...the whole Sonic and Tails friendship thing was also annoying...even if fans want it that way, they just disgust me in Colors, finally the plot is uninsteresting and contributes nothing to the Sonic series aside puns...SG was an improvement, the dialogue was bearable, and Sonic FELT like Sonic, but the story needed to be longer..

How did the Sonic and Tails friendship 'disgust' you? In other Sonic games, Sonic isn't really that close to Tails and he will only say just a few lines to him and Tails stands around and do nothing while Sonic goes off on another adventure with a new friend that he just met. I like the way they act in Colors cause they felt like buddies and they can have a small conversation and rib each other and laugh it off

oh yeah, and I know that the humor and the writing isn't everyone's cup of tea but despite the jokes (Eggman lines are the best) I still enjoyed it cause it reminds me how Sonic acts back in the 90's cartoons and it was cool to see that attitude back in the games. That aspect of his personality has been missing since after Heroes and they slowly brought that back in the storybook games

@sonicfan1984 Everything about the game is disgusting to me, it's one of those games you'd never play again. But you know, who cares? I got SG which is lightyears ahead of that piece of sh*t.

I have played it again since it's one of my favorite Sonic games and that and SG help put Sonic back in the right direction. I think you're exaggerating a bit cause it's really not as bad or 'disgusting' or offensive like people try to make it to be.

BTW what do you think of SG and it's gameplay?

@sonicfan1984 Sonic only "fell" in quality during the Shadow and 06 games, but that's mainly because Sonic Team was given very little time to finish the games, and as a result they're incomplete. How do I feel about SG? They said Colors "perfected" the Unleashed formula...what a laugh, the game that really perfected it is SG, it's really fun to play as both Sonics, though I do have a preference for modern gameplay, most of the stages they picked are stages I love too, great game.
