Because in a virtual world there are no consequences for your actions. You can live out all your deepest fantasies, and adventures with little to no risk. But maybe it is the risk that gives it its meaning.

You say that living in a virtual world is pointless, try telling that to the World of Warcraft fanatics.

Thats true very true. But I would rather see us change this reality and augment it. I still can't see us living in a virtual world all our lives. Maybe to develop human experience ya but again there is huge religious fundmentalist's on the rise again and they do not support stuff like this. It may take a little longer than expected

Containing people in a Virtual Environment would be much safer for the big Financial Institutions to manage us; and easier:In fact, they could use Program's to manage us automatically, so that they themselves don't have to. I don't think they planned to do this, but it seems to be happening anyway.

Ya but how would we pay? How would they retrieve money. Also, the virtual environment is a place where we should be able to create our own little worlds free of charge.

That would be nice but I hope that we don't end up siting down all the time will nanobots remove fat from our bodies and repair our muscles for us while we are plugged in to a virtual world.

I just hope it is like TV where you plug ur self in for a couple of hours and than go.

and it would have headphones and a screen

infront of your eyes.

i think that in the future the´re will be a game

that you control with your brain and you see,

hear, taste, smell and feel everything that

is going on in the game. like a hat that detects

the commands on the surface of yous skin.

it already exists. but you wuld also need to

block the sences coming from your body to be able to replace them temporarely with the

ones coming from the game.

it would be exaclty like the real world.

Nanobots could be injected in your body and do whatever they want to your mind.

That way they could block out the 5 senses and change them to whatever they are programmed to.
