@woollybully100 This was made in 2000, using Flash - when people were still figuring it out in Newgrounds and such. It was also super-low budget. Compare to many other (too many) shows, and this is mint.  Sure the frame rate is low and it kinda twitches and strobes around on screen - but it ain't lifeless.

I don't like this cartoon. I like early Ren & Stimpy, and love and learn a lot from Kricfalusi's blog. But I prefer the lighthearted feeling from the actual Hanna-Barbera Cartoons over of these parodies. @bealtespip123 I'm a cartoonist myself. I do feel that no matter how good your art is it doesn't qualify you as an automatic comedic genius. You rarely see artists with equally great writing skills. I also wouldn't say the Simpsons is the best cartoon ever, and it is hideous. The Simpsons,South Park,Family Guy,and King of the Hill isn't exactly beautiful art,but it IS entertaining. I loved Ren & Stimpy,but the adult party cartoons was shit. Sure,it had the most beautiful animation I've seen in a LONG time,but the comedy was abysmal. I wouldn't waste $26 on the DVD at all.

@bealtespip123 Now I don't think John sucks at comedy. He was the head jokemaster in the early Ren & Stimpy, and some of the funniest cartoon moments are from him. I think you could compare him to George Lucas. When John made Ren & Stimpy, he worked with people who wanted to be funny and make cartoons, and saw him as a director and mentor. Later, for the newer R&S beach frenzy one, his newer, younger cohorts thought of him as the creator of R&S. Noone wanted to say "John, this isn't funny."

It's just that I know he took the advice from fans as inspiration for the Adult Party cartoons,but this advice is coming from younger audience when APC is aimed at the mature audience.
