  • Love this tune! Can anyone please post the ending "run" in the last measure? No matter how I slow it down, I can`t get this part! A video tutorial of this part would be great. Hope someone can help! Thanx!

  • wow! great! Compliments! Playing Pierre it is not easy, never!

  • Superb.

  • Forgive me, for I believe you do a decent job, but: Is there any way to sound bad on an Applegate?

  • So, this is what the FRESHMEN can do at your school's guitar department? Impressive!

  • Very nice playing.

  • gr8 enjoyed this! lovely tone!! regards bluespower..

  • what is the brand of this guitar?

  • It is an Applegate

  • Pretty good —but watch Pierre; he does not play with a flat wrist except for pizzacato. You will get a hell of a lot more out of the guitar with a relaxed wrist; more tone color possibilities and less stiffness. There's a reason why Classical players use that technique. Still, you have a very good musical sense in other ways.

  • nice cover of Bensusan. this one is really difficult

and you succed to make the melody sound like a bagpipe

    well done !

  • I dig it, love me some Bensusan. Sounds like bagpipes and guitar at the same time.

  • UWM is the University Of Wisconsin Milwaukee, which offers a degree in guitar performance in Fingerstyle (only university that offers this in the world), Classical, Jazz, or Flamenco. John Stropes is the chair of the guitar dept and also the instructor for fingerstyle lessons. We are truly blessed to have him and others (Rene Izquierdo: classical, Don Linke: jazz, and Peter Baime: flamenco) among us. Just give me a shout if ever you have a Q about the program or what we're up to.

    Drew

  • well played.

  • First year huh? Wow. What is UWM anyway?

  • The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee

  • I absolutely love the sound of this guitar. Friend, you are truly gifted. It is refreshing to hear MUSIC instead of ten minutes of screaming cats on fire. God bless you, keep it up.
