I fuckin love this guy , I was massively into soilwork before he joined but I believe he made them even stronger, I've been lucky enough to meet him 3 times and he's just a really nice guy, very relaxed down to earth , no bullshit or arrogance , a genuine master of his art ! Although I need to talk with him about his technique , he's still struggling with that elusive piece of bacon stuck in his teeth.

@sebbimon He used triggers, but never turns them up extremely loud. That's why I also love this drummer. He doesn't show off his amazing double bass skills. He's more like

"It should be mixed up in the music, it should not be on top of everything else!"

But yes, in this video I could have been a bit louder, and I still don't get why they didn't use the studio sound for the ending part, you know, the "Bleed" part as I call it :P

For me, Dirk, Derek Roddy, Tim Yeung, George Kollias are all awsome. However, the latter three ones' style are quite "straight forward", and that's Why Dirk's "unique" style attracts me that much. He's just so unfortunately underrated... If Dirk really blasts, I believe he can do that insanely in Aborted.
