IMO: They both a great the 2012s that i got from NDC are better quality than what i expected. Of course not as good as the 99s but definitely alot better than what i was expecting. As for the change in the grey color I do love the older lighter shade but the tech grey is nothing rly too complain about,

That doesn't make sense. If they put "Nike Air" on the back of the Retros, then they wouldn't be known as Retro's. The ORIGINALS, (OG) are the only ones that used the Nike logo because of the shoes being released through Nike back then. They become "Retro" when they're re-released, hence why the jumpman logo is used instead. This applies to ALL Jordans, so if you see the Nike Air on the back, it's worth a shitload more and is much more coveted.
